  1. 5 games is way too small of a sample size, so you can't possibly start comparing our performance against teams above .500 to that of other teams, especially when we're one bullpen meltdown against the Giants from that record being 3-2. We're a good team. One crazy get-away game against the Nationals, who we've already taken the series from in decisive fashion, should not be a cause for anything other than temporary frustration....
  2. All of a sudden, Lauer's turn into ACE-dom ends up becoming quite important...
  3. Ethan Small time I guess. Hope it's nothing too serious.
  4. Yeah, but was it that much different from when a baserunner circles around first to go to second? It was a call that could've gone either way, I suppose.
  5. Either that or send down Brosseau. Cain is so bad right now on offense that his defense barely makes it worth having him on the roster.
  6. Yep. He deserves it. Maybe Cain could go on the IL for a while?
  7. Doubt it. If it was, there would have been a roster move before the game. On the broadcast, they explained how this is Urias' first day off since coming off the IL. Counsell probably wanted to do so against the Nationals, as opposed to the Padres or Cardinals.
  8. Geez. How many outs is Brosseau gonna cost us today.
  9. Gross. Brosseau shouldn't be playing short. Call up Turang. One inning of experience in the big leagues?! Definitely shows.
  10. Why I’m starting to think 100 wins is a real possibility with this group, particularly if they add a big bat at the trade deadline.
  11. Counsell needs to ride this “wave” with Hiura and see how far it takes him. He has too much talent not to.
  12. Turang might be able to give us something from that position. Particularly in a semi-platoon with Taylor. @Julio Muchacho how has Turang been looking in center?
  13. Over/under on the day of Cain's first home run of the season? His power, which was never elite to begin with, has just completely vanished. Only three extra base hits on the season. too.
  14. Great stuff from Woody. Keep up the positive momentum, and he will sooner than later reclaim his spot among the top pitchers in the league.
  15. Granted, we're playing the Nationals and our schedule thus far hasn't exactly been a murders' row, but I am starting to believe, with the overall weakness of our division, that this could be the first Brewers team to top the 100 win mark, or at the very least, get quite close to it.
  16. When people were evaluating our offense before the season, it seems like they forgot how young guys like Adames and Urias are and how much room for growth they still have considering they were consensus top 20 prospects...
  17. There ya go, Woody! That was certainly Ace-like...
  18. Our catchers have been so good at throwing runners out this year...
  19. Mullins fits the description, though the cost would obviously be quite high. Benintendi is another left-handed option, but he has seen very little time at CF over the course of his career.
