  1. I don't blame Megill for any of these walks.
  2. So this ump is literally deciding to stop calling strikes...
  3. Is this the record for most runs in an inning by the Brewers?
  4. Is this lead Chafin proof now?
  5. Corbin Burnes would've liked some of this two Sundays ago.
  6. I don't think Attanasio is going to let money be the obstacle to CC returning. Negotiating managers' salaries is different than that of players' in FA.
  7. I don't think anybody here actually reasonably thinks that CC is going to the Mets though, other than one particular poster, who also happens to believe that Stearns was deliberately sabotaging the Brewers and making moves for the Mets while still the Brewers GM. Most expect it to be the Brewers or retirement.
  8. There's already a thread on this exact report.
  9. I wouldn't hold out much hope for a Rockies win today given they're sending out a pitcher with an ERA of almost 10. Might have to settle for the wild card clinch. Wonder if they'd pop champaign two days in a row.
  10. Updated Prediction: C: Contreras, Caratini 1B: Santana, Tellez (barring a callup of Toro, Black, etc) 2B: Monasterio, Turang SS: Adames 3B: Donaldson OF: Canha, Yelich, Frelick, Taylor, Mitchell, Perkins SP: Burnes, Woodruff, Peralta RP: Williams, Payamps, Uribe, Milner, Megill, Peguero, Wilson, Miley, Chafin
  11. TBD as his injury was day to day. Same with Burger who left Wednesday's game with quad tightness.
  12. True. Soler and Arraez are annoying though. And Burger has insane power that could win a short series.
  13. I doubt they do that. I would think they're going to approach things like normal until they officially clinch. You might see Burnes only go like 4 innings next start though.
  14. Luzardo is the listed starter for tomorrow. Marlins are likely going to go with an opener for tonight.
  15. Marlins have better pitchers than the Reds. Reds also have rookies littered throughout their lineup.
  16. Yeah. I know. I just think there's a perfect opportunity to offload some dead weight from the roster and get some young guys some playing time next week assuming we clinch this weekend. I don't expect it, though, due to the 40 man roster considerations. Why couldn't Chourio be our 1996 Andruw Jones?
  17. Corey Hart in the afternoon. Jeffrey Leonhard/Franklin Stubbs in the evening sound like a plan.
