    Mitchell seemingly cannot make contact on fastballs up and away.

    -9 wRC+. If he doesn't figure things out by the time Dylan Moore comes off the IL then he might be relegated to the bench or even worse DFA'd (doubt it would come to that though)

    Rumor is Betts is going to be playing SS tomorrow. He's played 112 professional innings at SS all the way back in 2011 and 2012 in rookie ball and low-A

    I’m starting to have major beef with Biloxi’s 3B coach. It’s only game number 10 but he has had two of the worst sends I’ve ever seen already.

    He can play multiple positions but he’s not very good anywhere. He had a pretty brutal throwing error on a routine grounder to 3B today. Still think he might end up at 1B eventually especially if his bat continues to progress.

    Interesting pickup. Former 1st round pick all the way back in 2017. He clearly has battled a lot of injuries because he's only thrown 57 total innings since 2020.

    Judge (a stat guy at Baseball Prospectus) thinks that Contreras has shown enough to be considered a legit framer now because he has exceeded the small sample size probable error.

    I don't know why people didn't like that send. 2 outs and Mitchell who has been struggling at the plate on deck. It was a gutsy call and I was screaming send the whole way when it went through Crawford's legs.

    It's a 3-run game. Is it really worth burning your closer for a series for a 3-run game?

    I just don't get using DW. 33 pitches yesterday. Using him today makes him unavailable for the rest of the series if he throws 20+ pitches today.

    It was a hanging curveball. The location wasn't bad but it was a terrible pitch. He threw another hanger to France and was bailed out by Anderson on an amazing play.

    Burnes hurt now too. Just cannot afford this **** man.

    I'd love if Burnes could go 2 more innings. Don't think DW will be available after 33 pitches yesterday.

    I'm a bit scared to look at Mitchell's whiff rate in the upper-third and above the zone. Feel like it's potentially Hiura level.
