  1. Why do you think that? Winker said that his oblique soreness was because of excessive coughing from his bronchitis not from baseball activities and that he expects to be ready to play on Tuesday.
  2. I was going to say, I can't even recall the ball being hit to him much if at all in the games this week.
  3. Changeup has always been Small's best pitch. His inability to throw a quality third pitch (it was a slider) is part of the reason he is now in the pen with command issues obviously being the biggest reason.
  4. This makes me feel way better actually reading it. Of the 8 players in Japan who had this injury the median return time was 81.5 days (seems the standard deviation was quite large though) and none of the players had a recurrent injury to that area in the 21 months post recovery. Woodruff last pitched April 7th. If he could return at 82 days that would put him back around the beginning of July.
  5. Lack of extensions for a long time? We have had 3 just in the last few years. Yelich, Ashby, and Peralta.
  6. Just because Lopez signed a garbage deal doesn’t mean Woodruff, Burnes or Adames would. Im becoming increasingly frustrated by you constantly moaning about how much better the Padres and Twins are being run here on the Brewers page.
  7. Umpire scorecard had that 9th inning strike 3 to Cruz as the correct call.
  8. His consistency grade is going to be terrible.
  9. It was a very bad send. The relay throw overthrew the first relay (tipped off the top of his glove) got to the second relay guy and then still easily cut down Collins at home. Really bad send down 2 runs.
  10. Chourio ripped a double to LF but the inning ended after the Biloxi 3B had a very bad send and Collins was out at home plate pretty comfortably despite a poor relay. Really questionable call with Tyler Black on deck who has been Biloxi's best hitter this season and Biloxi down 2 runs.
  11. Chourio chases a changeup low and in for a strikeout. He's now 1-18 with a HR, BB and 6 SO since his 2 HR game on Tuesday.
  12. Houser still has another year of team control. There's zero reason to give him an extension.
  13. Chourio with 2 more strikeouts today flailing on offspeed/breaking pitches not even close to strikes. His K-rate is around 33% this season so far.
  14. Smart choice pitching around the great Luke Adams
  15. Freddy just has zero command of his secondary pitches. Threw two straight hangers to Grisham and Machado.
  16. Grisham is so annoying. Such a good CF
  17. Will be interesting to see how today goes. We seriously struggled against Gallen's curveball and Lugo has a great curveball that he throws a ton (34.7% of the time tied with his FB as his most used pitch).
  18. His first strikeout was on a 98 mph heater up and away not a breaking ball.
  19. And Yeager. A minor league RP with some good strikeout numbers.
  20. I actually like their jerseys more than the Brewers city jerseys. Completely agree that the catcher looks obnoxious though.
  21. Rowdy was definitely looking changeup on that 2-0 because Wacha gave him a very meaty fastball and he was fooled.
  22. 4 doubles in the 1st inning? What is Blighty Brew going to complain about now?
  23. Technically his second time pitching (although 1st start), but I am very down with ignoring that first appearance haha.
