    1st inning over. 3 H (with two being super lucky), 3 R, 2 BB, 3 SO. Zamora was given an error so only 2 hits and 1 ER. 36 pitches though so we not sure if he will come back out for more innings.

    Walks are killers but Rodriguez has also just been super unlucky this inning. An infield single and a bloop automatic double that was fair by about 6 inches.

    Is Vegas a bigger market? Sportsmedia watch has Vegas as basically the same size market as Milwaukee.

    Freddy had Casas (54 wRC+ on the year) at an 0-2 count after the Hernandez walk. He ended up walking Casas. That's on him. Maybe we don't win this game either way but Freddy walking a terrible hitter after going up 0-2 is in my opinion the biggest reason we lost this game.

    It's honestly a bit weird seeing a 35 year old reliever with nearly 800 innings pitched in his career throwing his cutter harder than he has ever thrown it in his career.

    Taylor has supposedly been playing games in Arizona and will be headed on a rehab assignment soon. Frelick is on the IL currently with a sprained thumb. Would imagine Taylor will be ready before Frelick.

    We were told the Mendez injury wasn’t serious but no word on the injury and he hasn’t played in over a week now.

    You are missing the point. Bumgarner will only make $37M the next two years. That's the max he will make. Right now the Dbacks are on the hook for the entire $37M. If Bumgarner signs with a team of $720,000 then the Dbacks only owe him $36,280,000. Incentives are completely pointless because he's getting $37M nothing more and nothing less.

    There's no incentives. It's just $720,000. If a team signs him that money is just discounted from the money that the Dbacks owe him. He's only going to get $37M.

    Alex Jackson hit a towering 3-run bomb to LF in the top of 9th inning with the Sounds still losing 1-0. Alex Jackson might not be very good but he hits some absolute bombs.

    He's going to pass through waivers and elect FA. Any team that signs him would only have to pay the MLB minimum to get him. Not going to be an incentive-based contract.

    That career ERA of nearly 5 is better than what MadBum has been able to put up since he got to Arizona. Also Bush went to prison and is by all accounts a changed man. Comparing him to MadBum who is a raging ******* makes zero sense.

    He has a 5.23 ERA since Arizona signed him. Absolutely hard pass.

    Hiura had a 127 wRC+ in AAA in 2021 which is only 10 points lower than his current 137 wRC+ in AAA.

    My biggest issue with Levering is that he pales in comparison to BA at announcing hype moments.

    He advanced to 2B on the throw to 3B. He wasn't running for second right away
