    Arnold stayed true to his word. Upgraded responsibly and improved major areas of weakness. Our plan was to rely on our elite pitching and D and hope the rookies develop. Excited for the rest of the season. Think quero and black get called up to AAA. Probably won’t call anyone up until 45 days left in the season so they can qualify for the prospect pick thing.

    keep in mind for the ROY eligibility its 60 days or less. So starting August 2nd if a player has no service days before that they can be eligible next year.

    Black has been improving a lot in his defense. Started the year out terribly but has significantly improved. Say he’s average now with above average upside.

    I think for pitchers I believe it. Team has proven we can develop pitchers really well in our lab.

    Per baseball savants new fielding metric, Weimer is the 2nd best overall on defense for any position and best CF. Our team is built on elite D and he’s shaping up to be a cornerstone of this foundation.

    How long of a leash does bush get? I know his stuff rates highly but he’s never been clutch. Seems like he tires if the inning does go 1,2,3. Know it’s early but there are great dudes in AAA that are younger I would like to see get a chance over him.

    Hoping for the same outcome as the Mets series. Feels a bit like a trap game, line is +125 brewers which seems suspect. rowdy’s advanced metrics were good so it was just matter of time for him to translate that into production. Loved to see lauer do his thing last night, depth is so important. hope Winker keeps the hot bat going. Will C is 94th percentile for framing. Surprised no other team has offered a boatload to poach Charlie green from us. Hes a legit wizard of teaching framing. let’s go brew crew.
