  1. It's possible that Prince ends up really regretting not signing with the Brewers last year.
  2. Well, they have to run something between the Dirty Dining and Speedbusters segments (those might not be TMJ4, but it seems like every news channel has "news" segments like that these days).
  3. I would say that is ample time. Ipods nowadays are more akin to a replaceable appliance like a toaster than the high end items they were four or five years ago.
  4. That just sounds like total grasping at straws to me.
  5. I think calling Hart's defense "terrible" is ridiculous hyperbole. Do you guys watch outfielders on other teams?
  6. I've been saying for a while that I think Corey Hart is one of the most underrated position players in all of baseball. He brings good hitting, power, and speed (although yes, he's gotten a bit slower). For a right fielder, he is a special player. Some on here pan his defense, but these are the same folks that seems to think only about six players in MLB history are capable of playing center field. He's not great with the glove, but I would call his defense average. For his contract and age, he is still a good value to this team. Unless some team is willing to trade a high quality shortstop or something for him, there's absolutely no reason to deal him at this juncture.
  7. The Brewers aren't going to move Hart to 1B. Melvin shot that idea down a little while ago. Plus there's the whole issue of that's where Mat Gamel is supposed to start. They aren't going to start shuffling guys around mid-season, either.
  8. I know Gomez missed a lot of time last year, but other than that he hasn't really been injury prone. And Morgan has done nothing in Milwaukee to make anyone think he'll wear out his welcome. Quite the opposite in fact.
  9. Kind of a surprise after they didn't bid on that shortstop recently.
  10. I just tuned in and missed a lot of it, but Bill Michaels is talking about this right now on 1250 WSSP.
  11. I really wish my wife and I weren't moving next month, otherwise I'd be all over this.
  12. I'm still thinking the Mariners. They have money to spend and might be looking to counteract Pujols going to the Angels.
  13. No, what I heard was along the same lines. The first couple things I heard were very convincing. Now it seems like this rumor has run off the rails. Not sure what to think at this point, to be honest.
  14. Figured out I have to let someone go today. Probably going to do it over the phone, because I know he won't react well and would try to make a scene. I hate not doing stuff like this in person, but I think it's for the best this time. Edit: Actually ended up doing it about an hour ago and it went fine. He understood, and I think saw it coming. I'm feeling relieved now.
  15. Trenni with some further insight if you look at her recent timeline: @BrewerGirl823, I've talked w/ numerous ppl w/ the team, a half dozen national writers incl an expert on the testing process & all laughed.
  16. Someone just pointed out to me that Trenni Kusnierek apparently shot this rumor down on Twitter yesterday.
  17. I heard what I heard from a couple different people, one of whom cited Brewers employees. These weren't just blogs I read.
  18. I really don't know. I agree that hopefully sooner than later, but we'll see.
  19. If the stories I'm hearing from a couple different people are true, Braun is completely innocent. I can't say anything more because its something that shouldn't have gotten out to begin with.
  20. Big news is that George Kottaras gave up his number for A-Ram.
  21. Braun apparently reiterating the "It's B.S." line today, via the Lime Light Twitter account. Seems like he's pretty adamant that he's innocent.
  22. Yeah, probably to introduce Aramis Ramirez.
  23. I heard Haudricourt on WTMJ yesterday with Trenni, and he was saying it's more likely that Greinke will ask for an extension than ask to be traded. Reiterated that he likes playing in Milwaukee, etc.
  24. *bangs head against wall* Chuck & Wickett are pushing this angle again on WSSP this morning. Come on guys.
  25. Kind of surprised McGehee was traded so soon after Ramirez was signed. Don't know enough about Veras to comment.
