Yeah. I didn't catch him this morning, but I read on Twitter that Witrado has been doing a nice job there. Witrado is much more "in tune" with the organization as a whole so it should be nice hearing him regularly on 1250. -

This is a really cool figure. Whoever made it did a great job (note the custom packaging). I just am trying to clear some space for other memorabilia, so I'm seeing if anyone would have interest in this before I throw it on eBay. I paid about $50.00 for this a couple years back, so would be looking for about that. Would also consider trade offers. Don't have anything particular in mind, but if you have something interesting, I would consider it. kyle b, thanks for your interesting insight. I hope for everyone involved that this new venture is able to sustain itself. I haven't had a chance to go to either of Braun's restaurants yet, but an Italian concept sounds interesting.

That seems like a conservative estimate, since he'll be gone the entire season and the Cards don't look to be adding another high impact starter before Opening Day. -

Actually, in one of the recent articles (I think McCalvy wrote it), Braun mentioned that he was going to be less involved this year.

This was something I honestly hadn't heard of until today. I was only six when this happened. Tom Haudricourt has a write up with some comments here.

Attendance may be fairly stable- though it's way down since Karl broke up the Big 3. I'm more concerned about the general apathy toward the Bucks, statewide, but particularly in Milwaukee. Many people pay little or no attention to the team and are either resigned to the fact that they will move and/or don't care. This sort of apathy will definitely hamper any push to get a new arena built. I think back to the mid to late 80's relocation rumors. This when the team was very good and much more closely followed statewide. Good thing the Pettits and Kohl stepped up as the saviors of the team. I don't see that happening again. Any out of state buyer will relocate the team, and without a new arena, I don't see anyone 'local' taking the mantle from Kohl.I've heard talk on WSSP that there is a local group "waiting in the wings" to buy the Bucks from Kohl when he decides to sell. Though I take that sort of thing from people on that station with a big grain of salt.

I suppose a lot depends on whether or not Milwaukee can keep the Bucks here in the next few years. -

Hockey might be the exception. Milwaukee probably could support an NHL team at least reasonably well. The Bradley Center was built to attract an NHL team, after all. I suppose that would mean the Admirals would relocate.
