    I'm for trading any of the Brewers' excess of outfielders if it makes the team better. Whether that's Jenkins or someone else, I don't know.

    Again, not trying to sound cold, but I hope the game (against two good division rivals) isn't overshadowed by this. I know there's going to be a moment of silence before the game, and there should be, but I hope the announcers don't just talk about the grief and tragedy for nine innings. I'm going to be watching tonight to see baseball (and hopefully a Brewers win), not a wake.

    Yeah...until Sheets and Bush, particularly, get more consistent, the Brewers really can't afford or justify to skip Claudio right now.

    Don't know if this was mentioned yet, but the Pirates won again tonight...they're 11-10 on the year.

    In the past, people complained if Yost left Shouse in for more than one batter. No pleasing you people sometimes.

    I'm thinking this is going to be a low run game tonight. I could be wrong, but I think Capuano and Oswalt will both be bringing their best stuff. This could be a game where one run wins it.

    Had a great time at the game last night. Really good crowd. Only idiots I saw were a couple Cubs fans in the parking lot, trotting out the tired "Brewers suck" chants. I wanted to ask them where the Cubs and Brewers were in the standings, but figured it wasn't worth the effort. Seemed like typical FIBs. Other than that, it was a great time.

    Yeah, given the circumstances, either of those trades would be suicidal for the Brewers. No chance. Although the way A-Rod is hitting home runs right now, he could probably single handedly win the season for us this year.

    I didn't follow this thread during the game...what's the general opinion of Damian Miller playing at 1B last night?

    What's more depressing is that the Brewers gave first place to the Reds due to this late game meltdown. Not the sign of a contender, IMO. Yes, it's just one game, but they add up pretty quick when you're playing division opponents.

    Yeah, I gotta blame Yost for that one. Aquino was clearly out of it, and he just left him in there to get shelled. Sad.
