    Ah...nothing like seeing your relief pitching give away a game :P Oh well, at least the Brewers will end up with a split on the road series (well, Cards and Reds anyway).

    Bring up Braun. His defense probably wouldn't be worse than Graffy's, and his bat would more than make up for it.

    Maybe they could just find one of Big Mac's old baseball caps to cover the field. OK, that was in bad taste, I know.

    Would Dice-K coming to Milwaukee mean that ESPN would start covering the Brewers more, or would he fall off their collective map at that point?

    Big road trip here...great chance for the Crew to pull ahead in the standings early in the season.

    The Brewers should sue Capellan's agent for damages if this keeps up.

    It seems like there's talk of the Brewers going after Manny every single year for the last three or four seasons now.

    They need to quit trying to swing for the fences every at bat. The pop ups and fly outs are getting really old, and we're one week into the season.

    Geez, maybe we'll end up getting more for Capellan than I thought if this is true.

    Agreed...Melvin has no bargaining power in this one. The Brewers will get a middling minor league reliever for him.

    LA's defense has been like a brick wall tonight. The Brewers have been making good contact, just not quite getting it through the gaps.

    I'm sure when some team has a starting outfielder go down, the Brewers are going to be one of the first teams called, if there's a possibility of a trade.

    Funny headline on ESPN just now: "Red Sox to begin the Matsuzaka era" He has a whole era named after him now???

    Looks like i'm going to plug in the old rabit ears and see if the WMLW signal can be picked up the old fashioned way here in Beloit. Don't know that you'll have much luck with that...WMLW is a low power TV station. If the weather is good and you have a good antenna, it's maybe possible, but I wouldn't be optimistic.

    If you want to move up seats, or sit in seats that aren't yours... fine... be that guy. But, definately don't sit there and pretendt hey are yours when the rightful owners come to sit down. Also, If there's 4 of you, and your seats are together, there is no reason to put your coats between each of you, so you take up 8 seats and are shouting to talk to one another. C'mon guys. Please. Two of my biggest pet peeves right there. Do they think the rightful ticket holders aren't going to show up? Maybe on a dead weeknight game, but on a weekend? Get real. I hate most of all when you get there, and then they try to look confused and stare at their tickets, and it takes them three minutes to get their stuff and move out of the way.

    Keep in mind that the game is also on WMLW tonight, so if your cable or satellite provider carries that station, the game should be on that channel.

    Boy, it would sure be amusing if those were the NL Central standings, in that same order, at the end of this season.

    There's all kinds of buzz on Milledge right now. Maybe some combo of Jenkins/Capellan/and a reliever could get it done, but not just Capellan.

    Yeah, I guess I am surprised they didn't bring in Turnbow or something to finish the game. Why risk having your ace strain his arm or something in the first outing of the season? I know there's a "Complete Game" stat, but what's the point? Basically it's just bragging rights.

    I questioned that in his 8th inning at-bat as well. He should've just stood there and tried to draw a walk, rather than whiffing away at the ball.

    You forgot the blue font...I know Neugebauer is no longer with the organization, and I'm assuming Saenz isn't either.

    I am not the most knowledgable about the Brewers' farm system, but it seems like they have enough quality prospects coming up through the organization where they shouldn't have to take a gamble on an iffy reclamation project like Prior. Let the Cubs keep him...it hurts them more than it would help us having him on their roster.

    Well, the Brewers were willing to take on some of Brady's contract to make a trade. Maybe they'd do the same for Mench or Jenkins? I really think Jenkins is going to stay with the team this year, at least 'til the All-Star break.

    I think Carlos V is too valuable to trade right now...though I've heard good things about Teahan.
