I hope everyone just remembers, Murphy makes Brewers history, wins NL Manager of the Year 2024.
Murphy ranked first on 27 of the 30 ballots cast, and was second on the other three.
My prediction is we will not have as many injuries as last season. Not sure where to find 2024's info on Brewers injuries but it had to be near a club record.
I would give Freddy P more endurance than Bryce W but when its all said and done, by the time we pull him, we will 80% of the time be losing the game by a few runs. He would be an "ACE" on about 3 or 4 teams IMHO.
I hope I'm wrong but I don't feel it.
Our offense looks great this season and the Brewers should be able to rake .... I'm not convinced about our pitching yet, I see our pitching as rather questionable. Unless were able to score 6 or 7 runs per game. We may need that many.
If our division is even the slightest better 87 wins would be a very good season.
I think our continual pitching injuries will catch up to the Brewers, so 87 wins is what I will guess.
Hader was a total mess when he was traded and an ERA of over 5 this spring. I sure don't miss him. Also the Dodgers had only 5 more wins than the Brewers last season but the weaker division did help Milwaukee.
