What don’t you please back off. You are such a little cry baby, please grow up Brian

  2. Like I said, tomorrow will be the 14th game in a row and you have to try to get all you can out of your pitchers in a stretch like that. You also have to let a pitcher get threw some things to see who you can count on in high stress situations. According to you, in your post above you would be switching pitchers all the time which won't work either because you will eventually choose a pitcher on an off day and that occasionally backfires also. Brewers are in 1st place by 1 1/2 games with a bunch of injuries and I think we are doing pretty well with not a very big payroll. Personally I like the way Murphy does things better than Counsell did.
  3. This is exactly how I feel. Sal in a sophomore slump but still hitting 30 points better than Chourio. I know I am older than most you guys but when I played college ball they stressed line drives, more like a Luis Arraez type hitter. Chourio is not a long ball hitter so his HR launch angle is meaningless for him.
  4. I have been saying send him down for a while because he could end up having zero confidence in himself if we waited to long. He really had only about good 2 or 3 weeks up here.
  5. What kind of question is that? It depends on about 20 different things like. Score, inning, pitch count, walks, availability of another pitcher, batter, rest etc. I know the MLB changed a rule because of Counsell changing pitchers to often. Now the pitcher has to face 3 hitters.
  6. I bet it will be Owen Miller. He is batting .352 for the Sounds since he has been sent back down. Pretty Good
  7. Brewers current injury list, 1/2 the team. https://www.espn.com/mlb/team/injuries/_/name/mil/milwaukee-brewers
  8. Starters are on a rotation so that makes no sense.
  9. We need better relievers, We would have at least 3 more wins if Devin Williams was healthy. Every reliever gave up a run or more today. Hard to win when all your relievers are giving up runs.
  10. I said he needed to be sent back down 2 weeks ago. He has no confidence anymore.
  11. Who's ya daddy. Come on now Chourio.
  12. Usually thats the runners decision rounding second.
  13. Pittsburgh Pirates will aim to stop their four-game road losing streak in a matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers. Milwaukee has a 24-16 record overall and a 10-8 record in home games. The Brewers have the fourth-best team on-base percentage in MLB play at .334. Pittsburgh has an 18-23 record overall and a 9-11 record in road games. The Pirates are 18-3 in games when they out-hit their opponents. The teams match up Monday for the fifth time this season. The season series is tied 2-2. TOP PERFORMERS: Rhys Hoskins leads Milwaukee with nine home runs while slugging .470. Jake Bauers is 9-for-27 with two home runs and eight RBI over the past 10 games. Oneil Cruz has six doubles, seven home runs and 17 RBI for the Pirates. Connor Joe is 11-for-35 with two doubles and three home runs over the last 10 games. LAST 10 GAMES: Brewers: 5-5, .237 batting average, 3.77 ERA, outscored opponents by 10 runs Pirates: 4-6, .198 batting average, 4.00 ERA, outscored by 14 runs INJURIES: Brewers: J.B. Bukauskas: 60-Day IL (lat), Jakob Junis: 60-Day IL (shoulder), Joey Wiemer: 10-Day IL (knee), Wade Miley: 60-Day IL (elbow), D.L. Hall: 15-Day IL (knee), Garrett Mitchell: 60-Day IL (finger), Devin Williams: 60-Day IL (back), Taylor Clarke: 15-Day IL (meniscus), Brandon Woodruff: 60-Day IL (elbow) Pirates: Ke'Bryan Hayes: 10-Day IL (back), Jason Delay: 60-Day IL (knee), Marco Gonzales: 15-Day IL (forearm), Ryan Borucki: 15-Day IL (left triceps inflammation), Dauri Moreta: 60-Day IL (elbow), Endy Rodriguez: 60-Day IL (elbow), Johan Oviedo: 60-Day IL (elbow)
  14. I never seen Goldschmidt look so bummed as this season. I hope he go's on a tear after Milwaukee.
  15. I agree, unless he can go 2 or 3 innings with a big zero runs allowed, I think he be gone also.
  16. Speaking of Counsell, I wish someone would ask Craig what really happened to Devin Williams. He may not be as zipper lipped about it like the Brewers front office. May 9th. Devin Williams is still recovering from two stress fractures in his back. The initial timeline was shut down for six weeks; out for three months. But that was more than seven weeks ago, and we've heard nothing yet about him resuming baseball activity. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10120119-breaking-down-latest-mlb-injury-report-for-every-team
  17. They have made some very good trades, I can't argue that. But I didn't like Sterns to much at the end in Milwaukee.
