    [ Really? You think LaRussa would call it with Pujols on deck? ] There's a difference between using a contact play with a perennial MVP candidate paired with an arbitrary hitter and a good contact hitter and one of the fastest players on the team. You're going to have to do better than that.

    On the bottom of the page for each feature article I added a "digg it" link. For those of you who aren't familiar, Digg.com is a news aggregation site where people vote on the content. If you'd like to see Brewerfan.net feature stories get more exposure nationally, "digg up" a story if you feel it's a good one.

    It's been a couple of years now since our last site re-design, and we've tried to put together a site home page that gives the best overview of all the information we have to offer. What kinds of things do you think would be nice to have on the home page?... or even, what kinds of things do you think it would be nice to have on the site in general? The one caveat is that we don't have control over the functionality of the fan forum, so please keep suggestions and ideas limited to the "main site". Thanks!

    Well, even tho it was about an hour and 20 minutes and it was on the hardball diamond, it felt good to swing, throw, and run around today. Looks like we have a solid pitcher in brewerfanmatt (Matt) and a nice newcomer in my94art (Joe)... Good as always to see the other regulars who were able to make it as well.

    I'm afraid I'm going to have to be out for this one... From the looks of things, it looks like it's going to be a rainout anyway. I certainly wouldn't be adverse to some throw/batarounds next week after work on days that are tolerable.
