More than likely, I'll be there at 8.

[ On 1510 today Homer was arguing that .OPS is more important than batting average, and that BA should be elminated. What is eveyone else's opinion, I take his opionions like a grain of salt. ] OPS is a better overall measure of a player's offensive prowess, as it takes OBP into account... something AVG overlooks, which is way unfortunate. With that said, BA is still a useful stat. There's no single measure that defines a player, offensively.

[ That Brian guy, what has he done for us? I mean, most people who come here don't get anything out of the site anyways. ] Just wait until you all found out that I've stolen your identities, and am planning on moving to a country with no extradition laws.

[ I fully understand why my post was deleted but I am anoyed that the original post is allowed to express an opinion about Falwells death, yet people who posted the opposite thought, were deleted. It seems like there is a double standard. ] I thought about removing the "sad" comment, but it's so ambiguous that I didn't think so many people would take exception to it. He was a celebrity, and obviously he had family and friends who mourn his loss personally. If the original poster had celebrated specific aspects of this person's opinion, I would have been more inclined to edit it. If you fully understand why your post was deleted, then you simply did yours as a retaliation to the first poster... I guess I'm not a big fan of that.

I don't know how many times I have to reiterate this. Terms and Conditions of the forum apply to the chat room. The rules aren't bendable just because you're upset: words like: ****** bullsh!t Are simply not allowed. People need to get the hint, or get banned.

Still waiting to hear back from the Yuku/ezBoard people on the date of the migration...

[ while i'm registered over at LL....and I respect the efforts it took to make that site. i do see his point...pretty much everything goes in the off topic fourm except for football, which is an off topic subject from MLB discussions. and IMO it should be allowed...but on this subject my opinion doesn't account for much, so I'll just talk football on LL ] I understand the extra effort involved, and apologize for it. In the future, we plan on bridging the two sites together... In short, the football forums will be available via the same login as your brewerfan login, and vice versa. I'm sorry that it's not intuitive right now, but we'd like to off-load traffic over there to: a) Keep site costs down b) Not "waste" conversation be either having people re-posting or missing out on what someone's saying over here.

[ And I'll correct 45 sec. worth of grammar. ] You've made a powerful enemy.

[ It's 45 seconds of your life that you'll never have back. ] Whomever signs up for LambeauLeap.net, I will in exchange fold 45 seconds worth of your laundry.

While not ideal, it's very easy to register at another forum to talk Packers. What's the big deal? Ultimately, the two message boards will be merged anyway.

[ I cant imagine there is a better IGT anywhere else in the majors. ] I agree. Woogie really added some serious value to the IGT's and the site in general with his hard work.

Just an FYI, we're going to be having a freeze on new features over the next several months, as we begin development on a new version of Brewerfan.net. This development will ultimately lead to the development of a new message board and chat room, as well as new features at our sister site, LambeauLeap.net. Please welcome the following two members to our development team: - nullbyte - Team Canada We're committed to taking Brewerfan.net to the next level, and overcoming some of the limitations that have held us back in the past (ezBoard). There is no scheduled release date for the new version of the site, but I'll release more info as we get closer.

Actually, it turns out Nicole was admitted to the hospital, so I won't be at the game at all tonight... Win one for the Nicole the Baker!

Whether I play tonight or not is going to be a game-time decision, unfortunately. I had to have some work done on my feet yesterday, and I'm pretty much resorting to hobbling. Worst-case scenario, I can take care of scoring/lineups/base coaching... I'm supposed to be able to walk like a human again in a few days, so I don't need to be placed on the 15-day DL.
