  1. I guess the other positive I would put on the game would be Ben Hendrickson's pitching performance. He gave the Brewers an opportunity to come back, even though that never happened. The rest of it was pretty much a festering bowl of dog snot, tho.
  2. Plenty of blame to go around in this game. My concern, of course, is mostly with Sheets. I hope he wasn't playing hurt.
  3. [ I feel like a President who's being impeached. Can't we focus on baseball and not me? ] Most Presidents who are impeached usually do something stupid. If you came around during a win and actually pretended to be excited about the team, people might think you're a fan. Instead, you ONLY COME AROUND during losses. Don't be a troll, and you'll have nothing to worry about.
  4. "In Internet terminology, a troll is someone who comes into an established community such as an online discussion forum, and posts inflammatory, rude or offensive messages designed to annoy and antagonize the existing members or disrupt the flow of discussion"
  5. [ And Brian, back up your statement about me rooting for every other team but the Brewers. I challenge you to find one time....ONE TIME on this board where I've rooted for another team. What a joke. ] Your shtick is tired. You only come around during games that go south because you think we all benefit from your "reality". I've got no problem with people and negative posts, but ALL your posts are negative. That's all you do.
  6. [ Bucksman, you should have been here yesterday, or the day before yesterday, or the day before that. We had a lot of fun discussing when the Brewers were WINNING. It really is a great conversation, you should come sometime. ] No, man. He's just "keeping it real", because no one who speaks positively about the Brewers ever speaks negatively about the Brewers. It's very revolutionary and edgy.
  7. [ I thought in order to be called a TROLL you must be a fan of another team. ] You seem to be a fan of whatever team plays the Brewers.
  8. [ With Brady just getting that contract this offseason, management may feel forced to play Brady in center though. ] I honestly think Brady will force his way back into the lineup naturally... but it does give the Brewers options if Clark goes down with injury or if another team comes calling for him.
  9. [ You know, I'm really starting to like Billy Hall in center... ] I never thought I'd say it, but I think I agree with your assessment. He looks natural out there already.
  10. [ Until you stop showing up for only the losses, you will have no credibility here. That's pretty much trolling. ] Every time an opponent scores a run, I swear I can hear bucksman4's computer booting up. [ I would rather make intelligent comments that actually incite conversation and make people realize that every team has flaws ] Yah, if it weren't for you, we would have no idea that the Brewers weren't perfect. Thanks for keeping us informed. Good grief, dude. You're the dictionary definition of the word troll.
  11. "What is worse is having to listen to these Brewers announcers tell me how Bill Hall will be in the hall of fame." Did that really happen?
  12. [ My reasoning is a fly ball is only routine (at our level of play) if it is hit right at someone. ] When you're me, nothing is routine.
  13. [ Who's the starting pitcher for Brevard County, and why would he disagree? ] Josh Wahpepah is a half-blooded native american.
  14. Houston Milwaukee ------- --------- Pos Player HR RBI AVG. 15. Sorry for the delay on this one.... but the 2006 major & minor league stats are now online... for the newbies, don't forget to check out our unique feature, the Brewerfan.net leaderboard: www.brewerfan.net/ViewLeaderBoard.do
  16. Your Milwaukee Brewers are on pace to win 91+ games.
  17. According to: www.baseball-reference.co...bo01.shtml ..these players compare to Uecker: 1. Doug Camilli (980) 2. Orlando Mercado (974) 3. Tom Nieto (974) 4. Tom Egan (972) 5. Bob Davis (970) 6. Ron Tingley (970) 7. Bill Plummer (967) 8. Walt Tragesser (967) 9. Ken Rudolph (966) 10. Dann Bilardello (966) And not surprisingly, I haven't heard of any of them.
  18. [ I don't think anyone here truly believes that Khalid Ballouli is going to be a consistent MLB All-Star. ] Oh, now you're just asking to be banned. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  19. [ In left field there is a fence for the tennis courts. ] We're at the field at the top of the satellite photo ICN linked to. So, the Tennis courts are in RF. Following the foul line, is the distance to them still a factor?
  20. I've got rain at 1pm according to Accuweather. I'd really like to practice, yet i'd hate to have everyone show up only to have them drive home. Jamie, whaddya think?
  21. [ I just said it's not something that some stupid stat can prove. It's just common sense. ] How are "runs" a stupid stat? It's not like it's VORPWTMIFATTIO65 (value over replacement player when the moon is full and the temperature is over 65). Common sense is opinion, while facts are aboslute. By all means, if you can find a negative correlation between K's and runs using a large sample size, my ears (well, eyes in this case) are wide open.
  22. I'll be there. Hey Jamie, are Mary & Rachel planning on coming again?
  23. [ I'm trying to say that strikeouts do matter. ] Sure, they matter. They equal about 1/34th of a run.
  24. WOW on Mark Rogers. Is this the night he finally harnessed his stuff?
  25. She doesn't recall there being any outfield fences. I believe the fields face each other.
