  1. Lakefront IBA. All the way.
  2. Had a great time as well. Thanks to everyone for coming out!
  3. The fact that I'm as good as cutting/arranging flowers as a blind and drunk orangutan is bugging me. :/ At least I got reservations at Coast for their valentine's dealie.
  4. Dinner & flowers. Although, we've only been dating for like 2 months. ..........but, so tempting: http://www.rockyrococo.com/images/promotions/02/heartPizza.png
  5. Dude. WE FINALLY HAVE JETPACKS IN THE FUTURE.
  6. Link: http://brewersfandemonium.yuku.com/contributor It's been quite a while (we ended the last one in June of 2010) since we've asked for donations to keep the fan forum going. We're down to the very end of our subscription now, so opening the donation system back up. If you use our fan forum regularly and enjoy it, I ask that you would consider sending some money our way. Every little bit helps, and last time, we were able to raise enough money to keep the forum going for over a year. Thanks for your continued support of Brewerfan.net!
  7. Got this in the inbox today. Molitor gives advice to young players... http://www.centralwisconsinsports.net/2011/07/the-cws-interview-with-paul-molitor-some-legends-only-grow/
  8. Tony Plush taking my dinner advice (and Battlekow's desert advice): http://a.yfrog.com/img737/1367/zrik.png
  9. We're still working on a new version of the site. Unfortunately, it's not my day job, so it's been a struggle to find enough time to completely rewrite the site. At some point, we'll be going online with a more streamlined version of the site which will reflect the fresh content that we have on our forums, on facebook, and on twitter (@brewerfandotnet).
  10. That's funny, this has been a huge pet peeve of mine. If they're going to boo it, they should probably boo when we throw over
  11. I'm going to probably re-institute our annual "fanfest". At the beginning, it was a Snappers game on a Saturday followed by a Brewers game on a Sunday. That fell apart when the class A team moved to WV, but now that it's closer to home in Appleton, maybe we'll go that route again. I'll have to check into some dates and prices and see what we can do.
  12. Had a great time last night... thanks to everyone who came out, and jj, I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. Thanks again to Invader3K for organizing it and to jj for getting the ball rolling.
  13. Al's right. Message boards aren't necessarily the monolith of content that they used to be. Brewerfan.net needs to adapt to the times, and that's something we're heavily into the process of doing. The Fan Forum will always be an integral part of the site, but we're working on other ways to deliver content and other types of content. Our 10 year anniversary is coming up, and we're taking this occasion to re-evaluate what we do and how we do it.
  14. Got this in the inbox in case anyone's interested:
  15. Invader, that would be great if you wanted to put something together. I'd certainly be in attendance.

  20. Another alternative for your son if you didn't feel good about the russian sites are subscription services like Rhapsody. You pay X per month and can download unlimited music (usually with a very decent selection). They also have add-ons where you can transfer songs to a device (like an ipod) if he needs to take the music on the go. Grooveshark is another great option (and I believe it's still free), but it's online-only (can't download to a device).
