    There's a pretty big difference between amateur scouting and general management. Jack Z's a smart guy, but a lot of time and deals need to pass before we can realistically do some sort of comparison.

    I definitely don't plug Coco Crisp. Japanese players only play 27 less games per season than their American counterparts. Personally, I think the league figured him out, and I disagree with the opinion that he would be solid in CF. I'd take Cameron over Fukudome in CF easily.

    Consider me unbothered that the Cubs are going to get Teahan, especially if they give up Pie.

    He's pretty much the epitome of borderline HOFer. Of Baseball-Reference's 10 most comparable players, 5 of 10 are in cooperstown. I've always liked Mussina, but the closest he's gotten to the Cy Young was #2, once in 1999. I'm amazed at how healthy he had been in his career. They don't make 'em like Moose anymore. Without 300 wins or 3000 k's, I don't think he makes it.

    KC gave up talent AND has to pay for Coco Crisp? He's a servicable CFer, but that's really about it. His numbers since he left Cleveland have been pretty pedestrian. Seems like one of those moves to try and say they're "doing something".

    I agree with Barbs4339 about renting games.... I've found that there are a lot of Wii games that are really fun at first, but aren't really worth owning. The games that are worth owning, get used at half.com for some very decent savings.

    I believe one of the new features is playing games off your HD (although, you still need the DVD to boot up). That would be pretty sweet for games with long load times.

    Once some of the big chips fall (Sabathia, Ramirez), you'll see the market accelerate. Really, isn't this the way it works every year?

    Axl definitely still has the Mike Patton-esque vocal range, and I think he shows it off on this album, but I think it's a bit put on because he's trying to make up for rather dull songs.

    I've heard the album. Honestly, it sounds like something Faith No More/Mike Patton left on the cutting room floor. It's not horrible, but it doesn't hold a candle to old GnR stuff.

    I think he would fit well if Escobar weren't probably a half-season away from being ready. I don't think Furcal would want anything less than a multi-year deal.

    Holliday is a Boras client. I'd be shocked if he didn't go all the way to free agency. It's not an anti-Beane move from the sense that Holliday will provide two comp picks when he leaves.

    Most users are pretty much always downloading... getting web pages, streaming video & audio, etc... Uploading is sending the request to GET the web page you want (which is very small)... Where uploading comes into play is when you're running a server off your machine, or you're using some sort of p2p file sharing.
