  1. I’d love to add Kwan, but the fit is tough with the emergence of Collins. It’d be great if Collins could play some on the left side of the infield, but he looks more like a 2B if he’s playing infield
  2. At this point Isaac Collins has been more than wonderfully fine…he might just win NL ROY He’s currently sporting a 128 wRC+ and 2.3 fWAR. His chief competition should be Drake Baldwin (130 wRC+ and 2.2 fWAR), although Misiorowski will have something to say about that Just a fantastic player this season
  3. One of the better wins of the season right there. Dig yourself an ugly 3-0 hole and dominate most of the rest of the game
  4. He’s not even close right now. Contreras going to remind everyone who the starting catcher is after the big trade?
  5. Bloop single, missed strike 3, and a double play ball catches the pitchers leg Don’t tell me the Brewers are the lucky team here ;)
  6. Can we get him to Milwaukee before the first pitch tonight?
  7. An annual tradition of trading 2021 international SS signees to the Rays
  8. It’s a bit of a bummer they didn’t grab at least one of the two California kids left. But the collection of high school arms is an impressive group
  9. If they can split that between the two players left it’d be a home run
  10. The Cubs gave Hoyer a multi year extension. Interesting timing for it
  11. Suarez has a 143 wRC+, which would make him far and away the best hitter on the Brewers this season (Yelich, Frelick, and Chourio are all around 115). I think you’re really selling his bat short by how you have framed it Now if you want to question if that type of production will be sustained in Milwaukee and if it’s worth the risk that it doesn’t, be my guest
  12. No comp picks for players traded during the season
  13. That would be a steep price to pay for someone who is having a very good season, but isn’t a star. But if that’s what it takes to get him and the organization thinks he’s the missing piece, then I’m up for it. Those are nice prospects, but not irreplaceable talents
  14. Junk is having quite the season. He has given up only one HR and 5 BBs across 55 IPs. He’s due for some regression with 1.6% HR/FB
  15. He had thrown a total of 25 pitches since 7/12. His velo was good. He just didn’t execute
  16. He nibbled until he no longer was able to nibble and then served up a perfect pitch to hit. Just a brutal outing
  17. Just the fact that we’d expect him to come down with that is all we need to say about how good he is out there
  18. I’m going to keep banging the drum for Willi Castro as the Jerry Hairston Jr of 2025
