  1. I agree with this completley. If I had the choice of two pitchers to add to the Brewers and pitcher A had a 3.00 ERA with 10 wins and pitcher B had a 4.00 ERA with 15 wins, all else being equal, I'd opt for pitcher A.

  3. I forgot who it was, but last year someone posted a series of really great spring training pics. In fact IIRC, he had a web site that he posted them on. A lot of them were from February. Is that person still around and are you planning on taking any more pics this year? Maybe this would be good thread for anyone going to spring training to post some pics.

  5. Couldn't you just replace "Kerry Wood" with "Ben Sheets" and change "seven" to "eight" and it would be pretty similar to the Brewer's situation?
  6. People are going to start recognizing these cars and doing obsene things when they pass. http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/419350159fff7103ff1198661e875aecb9b5f3d.pjpg
  7. Your link took me to some sort of live search page edit: Ok, I think I got it now...Have to delete everything after "prov" in your link.
  8. I live in Waukesha http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  9. As soon as I saw this thread, I checked a couple of other web sites and did not see them mention anything. Now I know why.
  10. I understand that they are not real time images. However, at the time the vehicle is driving down the street taking the pictures, it could catch someone exiting someplace that they do not want anyone to know they were ever at. No, it's pretty much everywhere now. Type in an address in Waukesha, or Wauwatosa (or wherever). Look at all the streets coded in blue. Those are streets that you can go down to street level and see every house in pretty good detail. The pictures are no where near 10 years old. The picture taken at my house could not be more than 4 or 5 months old because it shows the basketball hoop that I just put up in October. Instead of questioning me, why not go check it out? You'll see what I mean.
  11. Wow, maybe this has been a feature on Google Maps for a while now. However, I was looking for directions for something today and I noticed that when I typed in an address a picture of the location popped up. If you click on the picture, it takes you down to street level (as long as the street is coded blue on Google Map) and you can basically "drive around" the neighborhood and scan the surroundings. I mentioned this to someone at work and they said that they had read about it somewhere and that they were having some privacy concerns because they were catching people coming out of porn shops and strip clubs. Wild.
  12. Someone brought up the name Michael O'Keefe (Danny Noonan) in the "Retro 80's Oscars" thread. I started wondering what he was doing now. So, I checked IMDB.com and found that he is supposed to be in a movie coming out in April called "Chasing 3000" about two brothers who travel across the country to see Roberto Clemente get his 3000th hit. Sound's like it could be a pretty good movie. However, I can't find any more information about it. No Trailers or web site or anything. You would think if it's being released in April it would have a trailer out by now. Anyone have any further info about this movie? By the way, Michael O'Keefe had a pretty sweet golf swing (for an actor) in Caddyshack.
  13. Consumer Reports ranks this one as a best buy: Cub Cadet 11A-18MC
  14. We always go to Fridays at Chase Field one night while we are there. However, if you are going to do this, try to do it on a night where the Suns are not playing, otherwise it's difficult to find parking (well, cheap street parking anyways).
  15. I visit Border's in Milwaukee just about every day on my way to lunch to see what baseball magazines are available. Most of what I have seen have been fantasy baseball magazines that do not show team predictions. However, I did see Athlons annual publication, and if I remember, I believe they have the Brewers tabbed at 3rd in their division. I didn't look at who they had as 2nd, but I'm guessing it's possibly the Reds.
  16. Well...there's your "extra cash" for the Red Sox series!!
  17. Logan, what's a "pop" and why are you pouring it? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  18. Black bear wrestling. Ok, I know, not a sport. But if it was, I'm guessing it would be tough to officiate, because the bear would never follow the rules.
  19. Ahhhhh...Philo T. Farnsworth...the T.V. Guy!
  20. William O. Douglass?
  21. Nathan Arizona decides to let H.I. and Edwina keep Nathan Jr. However, he does not want his wife to know, so he asks them to leave by window. H.I. accidentally drops Nathan Jr. as he is making his way down the ladder. Nathan Jr. dies from the fall, bringing a dark and disturbing ending to what was, up to that point, a pretty funny movie.
  22. Danny Noonan doesn't make the winning putt, but Judge Smails has to spend all his winnings on repairing the course that was destroyed by the now jailed Carl Spackler. Dr. Crowe survives the gun shot and it ends up just being a really lame movie about a doctor who helps a kid who "sees dead people".
