  1. I'll be heading down early Saturday as well. I've got about 50-75 cards I need to send in through PSA, and I'll be hunting for some other raw cards unless a nicely graded Aaron, Spahn or Mathews pops up for me. It's usually pretty good. They're should be a lot of tables and some guy has a ton of jerseys, jackets, and hoodies for sale (unfortunately not much for Wisconsin related sports). You can probably expect more or less the same as you saw at the National. This will be my fourth show at that venue.
  2. there was a guy with a bobblehead shop in menomonee falls and he had one for awhile. can't remember who it was of though. that was years ago so i doubt he has it, even if the store still exists.
  3. agreed with everything madgrad said. the Corey Hart minor league uni will be a good one. it keeps me somewhat interested in most of these now. EDIT: fixed Hart's uniform issue. my bad.
  4. Loved him from the first time he barrelled over a catcher to his last game here. Jumped all over the T-Plush bandwagon and my friend even made T-Plush Pale Ale with labels and everything. (The Brewers office never gave it to him though.) Thought that his concentration of just playing baseball and going T-Hush took a lot out of his game this year, and he was too tense. When he was loose and goofing around, he played a lot better. Good luck to you Mr. Morgan, I tear up whenever I see the NLDS at bat.
  5. that's a helluva success rate BSC. nice work buddy!!!
  6. based on the fact that there's gonna be a Gomez bobblehead this year leads me to believe that it's his job to lose.
  7. can someone inbox the list to me? Hawing? Ricky? someone? I got class in a minute and I can't click on anything to get a URL with a number involved....as noted, I'm a computer illeterate at times
  8. I'm pretty stoked on this one. I know a lot of people here are stoked on this one. And I bet a lot of people in their mid 30's and younger are saying "who?"
  9. how? i'm not very bright on computers, so i have no idea what yer talking about.
  10. A fan voting would be nice instead of another Yount, Braun, or Aaron. Have a choice of 80's and 90's fan favorites: like Deer, Higuera, Vaughn, Burnett, etc. I'd love to see a George Scott bobble, but I would have to think that somewhere between 75-80% of Brewers fans have no idea who he is.
  11. on a side note, i wrote a long winded reply to their blog at about 2pm today....it was taken down by 3:30. heh.
  12. I bet there's a Bud Selig one thrown in somewhere too.... maybe they could do a Wendy Selig-Prieb?
  13. That said, here are my 10 guesses for next year. Ryan Braun Nori Aoki Carlos Gomez Whatever pitcher we sign in the offseason Jean Segura Robin Yount Hank Aaron Paul Molitor Sausage Mark Attanasio
  14. Since moving, I've packed up all my bobbleheads and I won't really have no intention of displaying them at this place. I could very well be done. If they all come with alternates, that's 19 we need to get (Whatever sausage they have this year won't have one, I really hope the Attanasio comes out too). Don't forget the Stich N Pitch, and now Bernies birthday. That's 21. Another 10 or so could come out of the minor leagues affilliates. I'd really hate to be the guys that collect all the woodchucks and chinooks bobbles on top of that. So roughly 30 next year. I started collecting them in 2003, and I was excited when they gave out more than 3 a year, and didn't even mind the 2007 minis too much, but now, I'm way over it. I'm sure I'll go after some of them, but I'm not gonna be chasing down the n-teenth Robin Yount bobble. ALL SET.
  15. There's a Sterban up there now for 8.95 BIN with 2 hours left. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RICHARD-STERBAN-2012-OAK-RIDGE-BOYS-SGA-BOBBLEHEAD-DOLL-NASHVILLE-SOUNDS-1-2000-/330809475490?pt=Vintage_Sports_Memorabilia&hash=item4d05c801a2 What a hot commidity. LOL.
  16. oh man. during the move I decided that I didn't need the ones I had anymore and figured there wasn't much demand for em. I had like all of the ones you needed except 1999. my bad, bro.
  17. Wow. This bobble isn't borderline creepy at all.
  18. You were the two guys I figured would be in the know about that. Thanks to both of you. I plan on going to the Sun Times show, so maybe I'll bring em with and get an idea of what I've got. Thanks again.
  19. Hey guys, Do any of you know what a 1921-22 Spalding Basketball guide would go for? It's not mint, but it's not in terrible condition either. What about Notre Dame football programs spanning from the 30's-60's? I have a few Marquette football programs from the 1960's as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  20. I just moved into a bigger place, a much bigger place (BCS can vouch my old place was the size of some peoples living rooms). But I had 10+ years of collecting in one small room. Packing up 200 bobbleheads, 100+ signed baseballs, along with all the other stuff I acquired over that time was a real procedure to move. I'm pretty happy I boxed up 95% of the bobbles (all the ones that had boxes) beforehand. The odds and ends took a lot of time as well. Just a heads up, especially to those with bigger collections, if you move, start packing it up as soon as you know you're moving. It sucks rushing to get stuff put away and not being able to sort it properly. Most of my things ended up in the right places, but there's a box of stuff that half of it probably could've been in another box. I promised my wife that our new place she could have the extra bedroom for her office. So everything except a few choice pieces, bobbles, signed balls, and my cards came with to the new place, the rest is in storage at my mom's. I'm not gonna create a "museum" again until I live in the house I own in. WAY too much work.
  21. BCS, where are you at for total Brewers now? about 250/700 or so?
