  1. Yah, while this is one that I have on my "want" list, it's not an SGA, so if I never get it and have all the other ones, I'd still feel my collection is complete. I wish I had known these were given out before they went through the roof. At one point I bet you could get one for less than 100.
  2. go to bobblebums.com and click BHDB then in the search box, type in wisconsin timberattlers. the guy who runs it does a pretty great job of keeping it updated with every SGA bobble ever
  3. i dunno if it's so much creepy as just ugly, but that bobble that's painted blue and yellow with brewers pennants and logos all over the place. it goes on ebay for about 30 or so when it pops up. i think it was a retail item sold when the all star game was in chicago.
  4. This makes me wish I woulda put a little more effort into my recipe. I thought for sure my grilled turkey/ham/roast beef, cheese, with french fries and cole slaw all on a preztzel roll woulda won. I wasn't smart enough to take photos of the presentation or bring samples down to the park. (pretty similar to Lucky's in Chicago but with a pretzel roll) I thought these were simple enough for anyone to make and pretty cost effective.
  5. My guess is that it's just for the thrill. We all know he can afford it.
  6. My biggest peeve is booing former players. When Carlos Lee was on the team he was loved, and many fans were upset that we didn't pony up for his contract. While Bill Hall didn't leave town on a high note, fans were relieved to have him off the team, so why boo him when he comes back? When Brady Clark came back with the Dodgers, he got booed, but he was never a superstar or a terrible player, just a middle line guy. There's basically no criteria, except that if your on a team, you'll be booed. Drives me nuts. I wonder what reception Sabathia will get next time he pitches at Miller Park.
  7. Also interested if you have 3. Message me a price.
  8. I'm looking to get Morgan this summer, since I wont be able to get to a weekday game early enough until then. Maybe he has a Tony Plush sig as well, I'd get two seperate balls to go side by side for that.
  9. looked around for ya this weekend at the park, but couldn't find ya. potentaially two friends were buyers. ps, morgan jersey shirts will be at miller park tomorrow apparently.
  10. I wanna find one of the retro road Brewers/Admirals hockey jerseys and get PLUSH stiched on the back.
  11. ZACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What did it start at when you started bidding. You might owe me a few pops down the line. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  12. Just won a (non) talking Braun on eBay for 60. Anyone else in on the bidding for that? I had to put in a bid before I left for school this morning, I may have been able to get it for cheaper if I coulda waited on it (it was at 35 at 7am, the bidding ended around 2:30pm). I'm hoping to gut it open and get it working. I dont know, or necessarily care if the value decreases cuz of it as long as it works. My need list is quickly shrinking.
  13. I have the Hardy, not in a box though. Inbox me if yer interested, I don't really need it.
  14. my friend sent me this link. i thought it was kinda interesting. http://www.flipflopflyin....ll/info-bobbleheads.html
  15. I was at that too madgrad, I got through twice, the second time with virtually no wait. Since it was so short one guy was like "Hey Prince, i'm getting married, would you sign baseballs for my buddies standing up with me?" Prince didn't mind, so the guy bought balls from the fanzone. It was pretty neat. I wish they still did those signings. I got a lot of guys there. BCS: I got a few things I'd still like signed as well, think he'd do TTM? I mostly just wanna get a homerun derby ball.
  16. I can see him trotting out to the intro easy. The quiet second part to the intro is a little quiet, I can see it being pretty awesome when the vocals come in. The most memorable part of the song is the late bridge where it's quiet and builds up to an erruption. I don't think that part will ever get to part. I've always liked this song and it works for a closer, but there's better punk/hardcore songs out there that shoulda been used. Most notably Black Flag "Rise Above" or "My War."
  17. I prefer the previous two years where there's a recoognized photo up there. Do you think they changed it up a bit once Greinke got hurt? He was literally the poster boy going into the season.
  18. I was thinking the same thing. That team was probably drinking in the dugout. My dad has pictures from a game where there was a keg at 2nd base!
  19. Jason, check yer inbox.
  20. Those look pretty good Jason! I was thinking of taking an old Capuano that broke at the glove hand, turn it around and try to make a Jim Abbott bobble. I'm just not good enough with that kinda stuff to do it. Now it's just in the backyard garden fading in the sun with a broken Scott Podsednik. Ha
  21. Talked to Gennett for about 5-10 minutes yesterday while he was signing after the game. Super nice guy. Told someone who offered to buy a bat off him that when he gets to the majors, he can have one. For now it's too inconvenient to sell bats after game, even at the cost of em new. Also said that that him and most guys were just trying to hit dingers, that's why he looked terrible. Fun time, I'd go again next year for sure. The crowd was pretty quiet, but it's hard to get too loud for mostly guys no ones heard of.
  22. I've been to Kelly's a few times, I think the food isn't all that great. I'd chose Girabaldi or Long Wongs to eat. I suppose it doens't matter where you drink, bounce around a bit. There's a shuttle that runs from pretty much every bar on bluemound as well. I agree with Homer that if you haven't tailgated at Miller Park, you need to.
  23. 1-0. Yo goes 7 solid, 9K's. McGehee goes yard.
