    We gave up Pete Stryzlecki( who had pitched himself to Nashville before getting recalled) to get Chafin…….that should tell you he wasn’t expected to be a high leverage guy for us…….he was a lefty with experience….they hoped he might be better then he was in AZ so he could contribute…….we already had a bunch of guys who were set in the high leverage roles…….

    It wasn’t 100 pitches it was 109 pitches……..and since they didn’t score in the 9th he would have had to go not 1 more but at least 2 more innings to complete the no hitter…….with no guarantee that we would have the lead even then. He absolutely did the right thing…….we couldn’t score…..that’s why we couldn’t get a no hitter…….as a side note……I’ve noticed that since the Phillies allowed Lorenzen to push his limit to finish off a no hitter he has pitched horribly…….not bad…….Horribly!

    But Cooper was a Brewers legend…….they could just release Anderson and nobody would bat an eye………it is strange….. must be good in the clubhouse?

    I would assume if Chafin gets cut it would be to activate Hauser. Unless they want to expose Vieira who I read doesn’t have options left?

    I laugh when our announcers say that……..I can tell you that nobody is scared of playing the Brewers. Sure the Brewers can win but with our offense it won’t take many runs to beat them……and it’s not like Burnes and Freddy have had great years…..even if they’ve been better of late.
