I was taken aback that the deadline for the qualifying offer was already coming up on November 2nd….. .then I realized that I’m just not used to the Brewers playing this long into the season…..😎

From the Athletic The Astros offered Kleine the job shortly before the Brewers won the World Series on Wednesday night, according to multiple sources who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the ongoing process. Throughout the week, some league sources said Kleine had sought either a higher salary or a president of baseball operations title in Houston

I’m sure it’s been mentioned but I’m not going to scroll the entire thread to find out but I find it amazing that you could legitimately make a case for 5 different Brewers to have been MVP. Wild Bill obviously Chourio Pratt Ashby and even Miz who won 2 of the 4 games including the clincher and gave up only 1 run in 10 2/3 innings.

One of the things we fans love to talk about every year……” don’t want to peak too early “ “ need to play our best ball when it matters most” I’ve never disagreed……clearly it is true……but nobody has ever figured out exactly how to do that……people have theories but let’s face it…..if it was something that the smart people in sports had figured out then everybody would do it….. With that being said…….for the “ we need to peak at the right time” folks……. I submit to you the 2026 Milwaukee Brewers! Never had more than a 5 game winning streak through the entire season…….never got super hot……just grind out series after series in route to the best record in baseball. Nearing the end of the regular season……and everything pretty well.locked up……they win the last 5 games against the Phillies and Cardinals…….using a variety of lineups and pitching decisions. Take a Week off…..playoffs start……they then proceed to win 11 of 13 postseason games…..against the best of the best. No cakewalk or fortunate draws in the Brewers path……they had to earn it……and earn it they did. So a team that never got “ hot” the entire season……closed out the season winning 16 of 18…… Absolutely amazing.

Megill is the goat man……lol

Ah the memories………fast forward to last night……this kid gives an interview and says “ When I signed the extension…….I thought now I have to live up to that” Those are the kind of guys you want to give extensions to……Ashby said the same thing when he was extended……so did Freddy. https://x.com/cyrthogg/status/2115770804806013284/video/1?s=61

If only we had “ gone for it” with Skubal we could have won the World Series! Instead we have to settle for still having Peña, Adamczewski and Jett in the system and going to a damn parade!

We did it guys…….I’ve never been happier and more emotionally drained at the same time. We all live and die with this team ………so happy for our players…..the classiest group I think I’ve ever seen top to bottom……our front office who put it all together…..and Bud Selig and Mark for bringing this team here and keeping it here. What an unbelievable night…….❤️

Lots of good stuff here…….i.particularly enjoyed Chourio deciding to move back in the box further and further as the post season went along …….crazy. Lol

Going back to the end of the regular season Brewers have won 15 of last 16 games…….

Yes but LCS was only 3 games back then……

Let’s quit looking for drama……..he’s been in the dugout cheering every game…..just like Woody…..Grant Anderson…..and Bryce Wilson…..in the NLCS.
