    How many innings would Henderson be expected to pitch this year? 13 innings last year…….coming off surgery?

    Because Canha isn’t a shortstop and the Brewers value defense…..especially at that spot. Now you could easily make the argument that he shouldn’t be hitting 4th but I’m not at all surprised that an excellent SS is in the lineup with a ground ball pitcher on the mound. Ps what someone did yesterday is also not something that analytical departments put much stock in.

    Ok,I get it…can’t replace a pitcher for a player now… I don’t know why they sent Toro down …..or even Miller……instead of Perkins…..with the current group we rarely need a defensive replacement in the outfield….and if we do …..Taylor can fill that role. I thought Rowdy was still like 10 days or more away?

    I think it’s a fairly safe assumption that Hiura will be non tendered in 2 months? Would you agree? If so…….I seriously doubt the Brewers were asking for much…….so nobody was willing to give up basically anything of value for him doesn’t seem like a wild assumption to me. But no I don’t have any insider knowledge to corroborate.

    I guess my take is he seems like more then just a lottery ticket type……which with Urias having a horrible season and a non tender candidate is more then I was expecting.
