    So……..Tehran pitching today…….don’t think many thought he would the choice for Saturday but it can now be ruled out………down to Rae, Gasser or possibly Lauer I guess. ps.Winker, Hiura and Black are all in the lineup as well…….not that they couldn’t play tonight and then be called up tomorrow.

    I wonder what the record is for most DFAs in one season? Miller must be getting close……..

    Yep…..it’s the way good organizations make decisions…….based on his play this year….both in the majors and in the minors……they came to the conclusion that Urias wasn’t likely to help them this season…..and since they weren’t going to offer him arbitration after this horrible year……they decided to move him for a minor league pitcher they liked with upside, options and years of cheap control should he make it. Obviously nothing is guaranteed.

    Job doesn’t get easier……red hot Phillies next……with Wheeler and Nolan. need to start scoring again in a hurry the sad part is if last night was a no wind game we win it easily……with 3 or 4 homers…….but it is what it is.

    The Yankees have less then a 1% chance to make the playoffs according to both Fangraphs and BR…….if you were in charge would you be picking up a player that adds to your already luxury tax level payroll and if so for what purpose?
