I know for sure Yelich and Woody wouldn’t have been available in this series…..and Yelich played 150 games last season……sure he will get time off from time to time but I don’t mind having him back when we play them an extra game. so glad we have a roof.

So skipping Sproat or giving Miz a few extra days to be ready for the Yanks? I’m assuming they pitch Sproat tomorrow because Brewers usually look for ways to add rest throughout the season.

On the plus side by the time the double header is played we should have Yelich and Woody back and hopefully a better situation …….one way or another…..to our issues on the left side of the infield.

Patrick has been lucky all year…….caught up with him today…….his stuff isn’t good enough to walk guys and consistently pitch behind in the count. -

That’s why as much as fans ***** and moan you need to trade guys like this before their last year of arby.

Interesting decision to go with Henderson today and push Patrick back for the Cards. Obviously it gets Patrick an extra day’s rest but I think the fact that Washington is so lefty dominant also probably played a part in the decision…….theoretically Henderson’s change up should play better against them and Patrick might have more success against St Louis.

They asked Miz after the game if he’s had cramping issues in the past and he said yes…….Murph said they were optimistic.
