They also had their best stretch of the season without Hoskins……and Chourio for that matter…..lol. If the Brewers keep Bauers in the roster I have little doubt they will do it because they think he is a better option than some others……..the amount of time spent analyzing the end of bench guys is kind of silly. I have no love for Bauers but he is left handed and had a nice game tonight both at the plate and in the field…. And yet after a big win against the Phillies this is what we post about? lets see how the rest of the season goes……..as I recall he hit a monster home run in the post season last year……. if they keep him it will be because they don’t see a role for both Hoskins and Vaughn….at least that’s what Murphy said. We should know more when Hoskins rehab time is over……plenty of time to figure it out.

He was doing what players do all the time…..he knows a breaking ball is coming and he cheated a little toward the line anticipating the batter to be more out in front…..it just didn’t happen that time.

I’m all ready happy about the season…….its been a very fun ride. Obviously I would love for it to end in a long playoff run with a championship at the end…. .but nothing is promised in sports and when you have a great season and it eventually ends…. Everyone is disappointed except for the winner. It doesn’t take away from the enjoyment I’ve had watching this team for the last 139 games.
