  1. I don’t think so……
  2. Marte just robbed a homer in the 9th to preserve a 2-1 win for the Reds. wow
  3. Yeah or it can be as simple as one play that is or isn’t made. Yesterday if that ball that Chourio robbed the homer is a few inches higher or he stumbles a little on the warning track before he jumps…..that is 3 runs for the Padres and we likely lose that game.
  4. Any team that wins will need a little good fortune…….or lack of bad fortune which is sort of the same thing. Once you get to the playoffs anybody can win if they play well and things break their way. The margins are so thin in any given game or series most of the time. Brewers have proven themselves to be the best ( or one of the best teams this year) but over 5 or 7 games that doesn’t mean all that much. Every series we play will be close to a coin flip……or for the hold em players on the board “ A Race”……… Hope the breaks go our way this year……bloop hit at a key time…..line drive at one of our defenders…….or an umps decision….can all be the difference. I just don’t see us dominating anybody……..but I’m very open to being wrong…..😎
  5. Randomness/ luck ……..the better team many times doesn’t win in short series. i hope it doesn’t happen to us this year……we are overdue for a little good fortune.
  6. For those wondering……we are 12th in the league in benefiting from missed calls……obviously not all calls created equal……..Cubs have benefited more than we have.
  7. I wonder who the 7 teams were that were opposed( let’s assume the other option was status quo since it’s obvious that full electronic system wasn’t on the table)?
  8. Players wanted this system…..and according to the feedback mlb got so did majority of the fans…….i think it’s a good compromise
  9. https://www.mlb.com/news/abs-challenge-system-mlb-2026?adobe_mc=TS%3D1758653635|MCMID%3D16359271076159621358735313343475967274|MCORGID%3DA65F776A5245B01B0A490D44@AdobeOrg&affiliateId=mlbapp-ios_webview_news-index&rsid=mlbios.at.bat.new.implementation
  10. Maybe umps will be able to adjust on the fly when challenges show that they are missing significantly in one area or another? We can always hope……🤷‍♂️
  11. Welcome to the new world
  12. First world problems…….😎 Eric Fedde getting ready https://share.google/images/yJwKjPZyLATNajRtz
  13. And he was used as a pinch runner for Vaughn so no need to use 2 players ……you save Hoskins for later if needed. as soon as Vaughn got on and they went with Mona you knew what they were going to do…….i will say I was surprised they didn’t use Perkins to run and move Bauers to first…..would have seemed to make more sense to me……but it worked out.
  14. Seeing him on the bench gives me hope that it’s just a bruise
  15. Jared Koenig……..and Andrew Monasterio……..for the win!
  16. These incredible collapses/miracles seem to be happening more often of late.
  17. And against Philly and Toronto he gave up 1 hit and no runs in 3 innings with 6 strikeouts facing guys like Schwarber and Harper. He has had a 1.00 whip in the 2nd half…….he is definitely a better option then anyone other then Abner, Megill( who may not be available) or possibly Ashby.
