It’s great to have a 12 game lead and such great starting pitching depth. The off day came at a perfect time. Lauer can step in and still be on 4 days rest.

Brandon Woodruff will be scratched from tomorrow’s start after dealing with the stomach flu, Craig Counsell said. Eric Lauer will start tomorrow and Freddy Peralta will pitch Tuesday, Woodruff on Wednesday in Detroit.

I’m not a Levering fan…….he tends do TV like it’s radio…….also think he hypes plays and players more then I prefer. Singleton has been a pleasant surprise as fill in for Rock.

I have seen enough of the Phillies to know I would rather not face them in the playoffs. meh. they aren't a threat. Of course they are…..5 game series they could certainly beat us…….but so could Atlanta so doesn’t really matter……..will be tough series no matter who it is.
