Lorenzo Cain on Aaron Ashby, who made his relief debut today and hopes to be this year's version of '18 Burnes and Woodruff: "The kid’s filthy. He’s throwing mid- to upper 90s with a filthy changeup. I mean, the guy is absolutely it. He’s the real deal."
Maybe they will call up Vogelbach? 60 days is up tomorrow I think…was placed on the IL on June 23 and he was in the Nashville lineup yesterday…..I’d prefer a right handed hitter but he might be an option.
If Hiura hasn’t been dead weight this year I don’t know what else you’d call him? Anyway……doesn’t matter what you would do or I would do……only thing that matters is what Stearns a CC think is best. My guess is that will be Reyes but with only bad options nothing would surprise me.
Who would you rather have who is in the minors…..on the 40 man roster and can play infield? No good options left down there unfortunately…….unless I’m missing someone? I’d take Keston easily before Reyes. I guess that’s possible but when you have 2 guys who are bad hitters you take the better and more versatile defender. I guess we will see

Agreed. Call up another pitcher. Sorry they have to call up an infielder……not going to play with only 3 bench players….1 being a catcher. Right now all they have is Jace, Bradley and Manny if Escobar goes on IL which means Rowdy and Urias start.
