  1. When Hiura plays himself off the team and Cain, Wong, Shaw and Taylor are all hurt at the same time it’s going to look ugly. Every team has contracts that turn out to be bad at some point or another.
  2. Well that should do it……..with the guys we pitched against this lineup it seemed like we would have to score 6 or 7 to win……
  3. Jacob Barnes DFA by the Mets today
  4. Technically true and wins are wins, we're counting wins against bad teams for the Brewers after all, but 7 of the Reds' last 8 wins have come against the Cardinals, who have lost something like 11 of their last 13 games and the Rockies, who are about as bad as the Pirates. They did win one game against the Brewers in the middle of that. That stretch of wins essentially got them to .500. Right…..I just don’t think there is a big gap between the Brewers and the Reds……especially when we are running out our worst starters. Also almost certainly without Hader and possibly Williams tonight.
  5. Reds aren’t that bad though…….basically a 500 team with an offense much better then ours. Pitching has let them down but honestly they have favorable matchups in the first 2 games and Mahle vs Peralta in the 3rd is certainly no slam dunk for the crew. Hope we can get 2 but I have a feeling Reds take 2 out of 3…….they have been playing very well of late just like the Brewers. Hope I’m wrong
  6. His win was a blown save Saves don't say much. Hader them all weekend, when really never was in trouble or the game needed to be "saved" Saves never seem to mean much to fans until the save is blown.........the fact that the game was never in trouble in the 9th is a credit to Hader......we have no idea how it would have gone if some other random pitcher was thrown in there.
  7. I missed the JBJ dive, assume that’s the one you’re referring to? Anything specific that was bad about it? He dived and almost made a great play….ball popped out when he had hit the ground and rolled. It was a great effort
  8. Small gave up a run…but another great start for him….only 1 walk and 12 strikeouts.
