Man…..early on in the video it seemed like all of the pitches were middle or lower…..but later on there were quite a few that were up in the zone as well. I miss that guy.

If I’m Taylor I’m asking CC if I can work at first base before games……just to see if he has an aptitude for it…..likely a long shot but when Cain returns that would be his clearest path for staying in the majors.
-
I think that is a virtual certainty this time.

Who gets the call should be interesting? Has to be a right handed hitter who can play first……anybody else other then Green fit that bill.?

Jarred Kelenic has been optioned to Triple-A Tacoma.

Hiura optioned back,to Nashville

It all depends on the innings restrictions based on the jump from last season. He only pitched 19 innings all of last season…….can he go right back up to 75 or 80 like he did the 2 years prior? Not sure but fans better prepare themselves for the possibility that the Brewers will be careful with him too.

Nice to see another excellent outing for Small LHP Ethan Small turned in his second consecutive dominant outing, allowing just two hits in 5.2 scoreless innings of work. The southpaw issued just two walks and immediately induced a double play after both free passes. The lefty was in line to finish six frames before a rain delay with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning cut his outing short after 75 pitches. Small still pitched a career high 5.2 innings and struck out eight, giving him 19 strikeouts over 10.2 scoreless innings during his two starts this week against Montgomery

Josh Hader indicated he needed a day today. That's why it was Brad Boxberger in the ninth. "Good communication there," said Craig Counsell, who expects Hader to be ready to go Tuesday at Cincinnati.
-
How good has Box been for us? Really needed someone to be better then expected and he has been the guy!

Apparently Hiura isn’t the only young hitter going through a terrible slump Jarred Kelenic is in an 0-for-35 stretch with the Mariners that has sunk his slash line to .101/.193/.203. It's tied for the longest hitless streak by any player this season.

Without any info I would guess they are just easing him back. -
Great win! Good job by Richards to save Josh.

What an at bat by Omar!

How good is that Peralta contract looking right now?
-
I love how hard Garcia runs on every grounder since that mistake.

Good job Box…..with a little help from Joe on that 3-1 pitch.

It just got a little interesting…..maybe
