  1. Narvaez with another hard hit ball that goes for an infield single. He has looked much more like the guy we thought we had traded for this spring.......let’s hope it carries over
  2. Hiura with another homer to right center.....this one probably wind blown. Like the approach.......lots of hard contact against Buehler.
  3. Hiura crushes a homer to right center.......Yelich sneaks 1 over the wall in left center. Wind is blowing out today. Hiura’s was gone without wind......Yelich’s would have been caught. Now Narvaez hits a rocket out to left center. Woah Nellie
  4. Now Vogelbach goes deep.......guys on the bubble making an impression the last week.
  5. 2 run blast by Tyrone Taylor.
  6. Not sure I agree with all of this but obviously a very positive article. The speed comment was strange to me.......from what I have seen the guy can fly....it’s not just a great motor.
  7. https://www.si.com/mlb/2021/03/20/cubs-minor-leaguer-arrested-with-21-pounds-of-meth
  8. Well if McKinney makes it Vogelbach won’t. Can’t see them both on the team.
  9. Lauer, Perdomo, and Maile optioned
  10. Just read this article.....does anyone here think that Hiura is going to start “ a whole lot of games at 2nd base”? I mean did he mean first base? I’m not buying Hiura at 2nd other then in rare situations this season. https://reviewingthebrew.com/2021/03/17/brewers-daniel-vogelbach-make-cut-opening-day/
  11. I’m afraid every time Hiura has to make anything other then a routine play.
  12. That pick off error charged to Burnes should probably have been caught by Hiura.
  13. Line drive out by Mitchell against Bauer......man he looks good. And now Maile takes Bauer deep.......good stuff
  14. Lighting up Kershaw......even in spring training....is fun! Our lefties getting good swings against him too.
  15. Urias and Wong both 2 for 2. Nice
  16. I think it’s a tie!
  17. 2 hard hit balls today from Hiura....line out to center and a double to left. Good to see
  18. He has to win the job. He hasn’t hit in the majors ......at least not yet.....in 402 PA....’not a big sample but not a few weeks either. He came into spring training knowing that he would have the chance to win the job......he got hurt and has looked bad at the plate in the limited chances he’s had. Maybe he starts to swing the bat here the next few weeks but for a guy with no major league success he has to show something before you keep him. It’s not just that he hasn’t gotten hits......nothing but strike outs and weak contact. Having options is a good thing.......No need to play him until he gives some indication he is a better option then Arcia......the minor league stats are nice but that was a few years ago now......let him find a grove again.
  19. Rare bad throw on a routine double play grounder to Shaw cost the Brewers in the first.
  20. If anyone is on the outside looking in it has to be Urias. He has been injured....shown nothing..... and has options.
