They aren’t going to spend 10 million on a relief pitcher coming off a down year. Somebody else might but it won’t be the Brewers……plenty of other ways to spend that money more productively. Brewers have always been able to find effective bullpen guys on the cheap…….with all,of our high leverage guys(Shelby not included) under control next season we are in good shape there barring injury.

The thing that has made this team great is that there is no clear cut choice……and they have the best record in baseball by 5 games anyway. -
So maybe we can finally put the speculation to rest…….could be on the playoff roster but done for the regular season.

But if you think about it…….if we win the division and get a bye……they would be the 6 seed so they would play the division winner with the worst record…….would you rather they get the chance to take out the Dodgers or the Phillies in a short series and get them out? I would……
