All pitchers I believe but not sure. Obviously the true aces seem to be able to go deeper so,I assume their numbers are still good but I don't have the stats the Brewers have.
I believe the advanced stat numbers have been mentioned as the reason. Starters going through the order for the 3rd time have numbers that take a nose dive . According to BA the evidence is overwhelming iirc.
http://www.espn.com/mlb/stats/team/_/stat/pitching/league/nl/sort/qualityStarts/order/true I don't know what ESPN considers to be a quality start, but there is absolutely no way we have gotten 6 innings or more from our starting pitcher 57 times this year. I stand corrected......fangraphs has us near the bottom. Serves me right for thinking espn could get something right that is as simple as quality starts.
Think it was an injury Team twitter account After landing awkwardly on the mound, Zack Brown exits the game for Shuckers in the fourth. He walks off under his own power, and Jon Perrin now into the ballgame for Biloxi.
They are ranked really low in quality starts though. In general they are mostly ok but There’s something to be said about going more than five innings. There is definitely room for improvement. No they aren't.....were tied with the Dodgers for first in the league before today. http://www.espn.com/mlb/stats/team/_/stat/pitching/league/nl/sort/qualityStarts/order/true
Before today brewer starters had the 5th best era in the NL. Batting average against was 2nd. Ops 4th I know they are a bunch of no names but the facts don't support that they have been mediocre at best.
