This is the Sal we all hoped for after watching him in the minors. i have to be honest and say I didn’t see this coming from Turang…….always figured he would be a great defender who could be an average hitter at best.

They aren’t going to spend 10 million on a relief pitcher coming off a down year. Somebody else might but it won’t be the Brewers……plenty of other ways to spend that money more productively. Brewers have always been able to find effective bullpen guys on the cheap…….with all,of our high leverage guys(Shelby not included) under control next season we are in good shape there barring injury.

The thing that has made this team great is that there is no clear cut choice……and they have the best record in baseball by 5 games anyway. -
So maybe we can finally put the speculation to rest…….could be on the playoff roster but done for the regular season.
