They are waiting for Weeks to break out of his slump and hit to his career numbers. As you said they have 20 million invested in him...they aren't going to give up on him a month into the season... -

I think they want somebody who can play the outfield. I think the point is Davis doesn't have a role with this team.....find somebody who can pinch hit, play first and the outfield.....hopefully he is better then Kotsay....Carlos Lee would have been good but apparently he isn't interested in playing. -

If we haven't seen it by now I doubt we will....unless he reinvents himself like Lohse did. I'm a Gallardo fan, but watching him pitch is sometimes very painful. High pitch counts just irritate me. Will he ever be a consistent 7 inning guy, or will we always just hope to get 6?

Not a surprise.....no need for Davis to sit on the bench and not play. Jon Morosi @jonmorosi 40m Brewers would love to add a veteran hitter who can play the corner infield and outfield spots -- similar to what they had in Mark Kotsay

I'm no major league scout but he sure looks like he can play shortstop to me......... I also loved the "above average" speed comment.....lol......that is like saying Stanton has "above average" power....

Henderson has settled very nicely into the closers role........ Can we please try somebody else at first....Can Lalli be any worse then Gonzalez? Can Priunce play 2nd at all to give Rickie a day off?

Cubs sure do give you chances......error by the pitcher and then a hanging breaking ball to Braun......crushed With the way Weeks and Gonzalez are swinging RRR should think about giving both a day off. Can Prince play 2nd or 3rd? Yuni at the other and Lalli at first.... Aoki looks like he could use a day off too....

Can't afford to have Braun struggle when we have AR and Hart injured, Weeks in one of his extended funks and Lucroy with the day off. This lineup today is really bad .....
