  1. Braun looks like he can use the off day tomorrow....he is about 0 for his last 20
  2. Well they have to improve the pen......So if they don't spend a lot of money on it they better find some good cheep options out there. Time of add some power arms and a lefty that is you know....really tough on lefties....
  3. Because Dillard and Parra were out of options.......I know its amazing to think that was a factor but it was..... Henderson has a big arm. Should be fun to see how he handles himself the rest of the year.
  4. The reality is Gamel may be a suitable replacement for Hart or he may be Billy Jo Robidoux. Hart is a proven commodity. Let's see how much he wants before we just get rid of him for somebody who is unproven at the big league level.
  5. Combined no hitter by Huntsville with 11 walks! lol http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/brewers.html
  6. 1. Game 5 last year 2. Game 5 1982 3. Easter Sunday 4. Yount 3000 5. Ryan's 300th win
  7. I found this article on Corey after he signed the last extension. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/428620-keeping-the-hart-at-home-brewers-extend-corey-harts-contract
  8. Hell will freeze over before MA trades Braun this off season.
  9. Who says he wants 15 to 17 million? We have no idea what he would be looking for stay or how many years he would need to sign. It's one thing if we have a young Fielder coming up to play for the minimum but we don't. Morris has had a nice year but before this year he was barely a prospect. All I'm saying is I like Corey. He has earned some loyalty. If he wants 5 years at 15-17 then I look to move him but if he says hey I love it here give me 3 for 36-39 I'd give serious thought to keeping him around.
  10. It's amazing to me how many people just want to just ship Hart out. The guy came up through the system. He has repeatdly stated how much he loves Milwaukee and the Brewers and would like to finish his career here. He puts up good numbers consistently and is now almost a gold glove caliber player at a position of need for us. Maybe he will sign a reasonable extension? Trading for prospects is a crap shoot. It's one thing to trade a good player who doesn't want to be here but that is not the case here. I hope Doug sees what it will take to extend him. If wants too much fine look into trading him. I swear half you guys would have wanted to trade Yount after 82 to try and get some good prospects.....
  11. Corey wants to be here. I hope we extend him if it can be done at reasonable money. I have a soft spot for guys who come up through our system, become good players, and really want to stay.
  12. I think the ump just wanted the game over....lol Good call...great pick by Hart
  13. This one is on Roenicke.....He has been whining about not having anybody to go to out there.....he says he has been impressed with Henderson and yet he is too chicken **** to throw him out there even in a game that doesn't mean anything......utterly ridiculous
  14. You know Ron...the season is over....Henderson was closing games in Triple A......just because he's a rookie doesn't mean you can't throw him out there....I mean take a chance.....he just might be ok....
  15. I'm hoping Henderson gets the chance to blow it tonight.....at least it would be something new.
