To all major league teams Don't miss this chance to trade for Randy Wolf ......He is hitting his groove. Don't let the competition beat you to the punch. Do whatever you need to do to acquire this difference maker while you still can! I will be sitting by my phone waiting to take your offers after the game. Your friend...Doug Melvin.

Nobody gets rid of a 2 run first inning lead quicker then Randy Wolf...............

Should be interesting to see what they gave up. Will help to define the market for Greinke -
I guess Bailey was due to shut us down.
-
Man Estrada gives up a lot of homers. Pitching well but can't dodge the long ball.

Hart is not making ridiculous money when compared to production and either is Ramirez. The risk with AR is what he will do in the next 2 years. It's not a given that he will fall off dramatically. I love Hart at first. If we can sign him to reasonable deal I hope we extend him. Gamel and Green are unproven. I don't want to roll the dice with too many of those guys when we have perfectly good players already under contract. Now if you don't resign Greinke and go into rebuild mode(not MA's MO) then maybe we consider it but attendance will take a hit and I'm not excited about the prospect of wasting Ryan Braun's prime by trading away 2 of our best hitters just because they aren't making the minimum. -
He looked like he lost it in the sun for a second...but then it was routine.... Did he struggle catching it? Ueck didn't paint a very clear picture on that game ending play...

No defense against the base on balls
-
Do our relievers know they are allowed to retire the side in order from time to time? This just gets old......
-
Holliday really helping out KROD there....wow...bounced a foot in front of the plate
-
nothing like walking a guy to bring the lead run to the plate
-
Can't hang an 0-2 curve ball to the pitcher...come on.
-
Rickie and Corey can't even put it in play........
-
Lots of hard hit balls by the Cards........
-
Infield in....this could get away in a hurry
-

According to TH Brewers would not get 2 picks for Greinke now...only a supplemental after round 1 http://www.jsonline.com/sports/brewers/162532436.html -
Sounds like they are considering a change in closers. Certainly RRR didn't give Ax a vote of confidence. Ax just said "It was the most awful outing I've had all year. I didn't have anything. Couldn't command the fastball or throw the curve for strikes and then when I finally did it was too late...then I threw one for a strike when I shouldn't have"
-
Yeah I was wondering the same thing. Every outing is the same....He comes in trying to establish his fastball.....usually falsl behind anyway.....mixes a few curves and never even tries to throw a slider. He is behind literally every hitter......nobody can pitch like that.
-
He has not been able to throw strikes all year
-
Ramirez had no play.....runner was going on the pitch and he never would have thrown out Furcal.
-
We can feel lucky that AX turned down whatever extension we offered him. He cost himself lots of money
-
It doesn't matter who the closer is. If you move KROD into the role then we blow games in the 8th instead..
