I have np problem with hitting for Zack there. Another run or 2 is worth the 1 inning Zack had left. The problem is the failure to get that run or 2.

So Morgan in this series has 1. Forgot what the count was and got caught in no mans land between 2nd and 3rd 2. misjudged a fly ball that a little leaguer could have caught 3. Missed a suicide squeeze sign He also made a great catch yesterday. Did I miss anything?

That inning sums up the season perfectly......... Mental errors, bad managing and poor execution.

Beat goes on for the Brewers offense. Took 10 innings to score a run friday, shutout in 10 yesterday and 1 bunt single through 4 today...... Dreadful to watch

Small sample size for sure but has Suppan ever have a season when he had a strikeout to walk ratio of 6 to 1? A whip of 1.11? Now I'm not saying this will continue for Fiers but so far so good. Way too early to say Fiers will be Suppan. He is not a hard thrower but his stuff looks better. He is striking out almost 1 per inning. Suppan struck out about 5 per 9 innings for his career.

Ransom has been good defensively but it's hard to stomach that absolute patheticness that is our offense at short. I mean you would think some random guy from AA couldn't do any worse then Ransom/Izturas......

Another day another baserunning blunder by Morgan. The guy just infruriates me. Great performance by Fiers wasted by inept hitting, poor execution and of course our crappy pen.

It must be scary for RR to look down into that bullpen in a close game and think to himself "so is there anybody down there who won't suck today"?

RRR said in the post game that "I wasn't going to send Zack out there for the 10th no matter what. Didn't matter how many pitches he threw it's the start/ stops that are what is hard on the arm. I wasn't going to do that to Zack" That's not word for word but it's pretty close. Never heard the stop/start argument before. So 9 stop/starts is ok but 10 is too much? Really?

If the pen had been good to excellent in the past week the Crew could have had a really good streak here.

Fiers isn't starting again until Sunday so it was his day to throw anyway.
