  1. Nice job by Fiers going through the heart of the order 123.
  2. Moldanado is really a nice story.....kid has just done a great job
  3. Dillard is going to tighten this game up again.......not fooling anyone.
  4. High leverage late inning situation and we turn to Tim Dillard. Wow
  5. How many times this year has a brewer player forgot how many outs there were? No excuse for that to keep happening.......
  6. Axford's problems can be summed up by this blurb from last nights blown save. He is constantly behind in counts because he can't throw his curve ball for strikes and his fast ball command hasn't been great either. Walks are obviously way up too. They didn't repeat the feat in the ninth, but came close. Rasmus hit a 3-and-1 fastball down the right-field line for a game-tying home run, and Bautista hit another 3-and-1 fastball for another homer to right that gave the Blue Jays the lead.
  7. Are you suggesting that our bullpen has just been unlucky? Come on....they have been bad by virtually any measure and since game outcomes determine getting to the playoffs it's hard to imagine or more important stat then game outcomes. This team is playing bad baseball and they are losing games because of it. Luck is a factor in all sports and for all teams but you have to be a real homer to suggest that this Brewer team is significantly better then their record. Certainly injuries have been a factor but the bullpen has been bad all year and other then Estrada being pulled into the rotation has not been impacted by the rash of injuries. You are measuring bad based on game outcomes, so of course.
  8. They have hit some balls hard but TT looks like he has really good stuff. Fast ball has some serious movement on it.
  9. The Brooks Conrad era is over............... Mike Vassallo ‏@MikeVassallo13 To make room on the 40-man roster, the #Brewers have designated INF Brooks Conrad for assignment.
  10. Jungmann's ERA is closer to 4 then it is 3 and his whip is 1.29. I would classify that as ok/decent not very good. I guess I was just hoping they would be better at that level. Bradley has really struggled of late.
  11. Is it normal for high draft pick college pitchers to struggle at A ball? I mean I know it happens but is a bad sign for their future at the major league level or do most of them need some time to settle in? Bradley just turned 21. Jungmannn is a year older. Jimmy Nelson is about the same age and pitched much better at that level before getting promoted.
  12. It's pretty hard for Prince...... It was ridiculous how big of deal BA and Rock were making of Hart not having played 1st in years. Seriously, it's not that hard.
  13. I love it when a player makes me look good....lol Indeed. I'm pretty excited about his future there. Such a great target. Has shown nice soft hands too.
  14. Hart has been very impressive for a guy who hasn't played first since the minor leagues....wow.
  15. Adam McCalvy ‏@AdamMcCalvy Randy Wolf's teammates are just killin' him. Blown save in 3 straight starts, 4 of last 5 and 5 of last 8. #Brewers
  16. yeah...he meant he left with the lead and won't get the win again
  17. No lead is safe from the suckiness that is our bullpen.................
  18. Zach giving up hits in bunches. Morgan should have hit the cutoff man but its hard to know if they could have got a force out on the play up the middle. Mauer owns Greinke. Greinke's road splits again this year are much worse then at home.
