So Soupon gets pounded around in Triple A but the brewers can't do anything with him in 3 innings? Where has Gallardo's command gone? He is literally behind every hitter.

Peralta so far has given up 3 runs 86 pitches 62 for strikes through 7. Had a rough first inning but after that has been dominant. 8 k's so far

I never liked Hughes.....Powell was my favorite. I thought Provus was ok. Too soon to tell on Block.

FWIW Estrada agrees with TM..... "I felt pretty good," Estrada said. "I felt like I threw a lot of strikes. The defense was amazing. They are a good hitting team. They capitalized on whatever mistakes I made. Freese hit that home run on a bad changeup. With Molina it was supposed to go down and away on that curveball and I left it in and he barreled it. That's what good hitting teams do. You have to minimize your mistakes."

Great job there by Mcclendon to get Beltran to hit that frozen rope right at Weeks for the dp....... The pitching staff is beyond disappointing so far.

Not pilling on...it was just a comment in context of the pen as a whole not being good enough. I've always liked Manny but sometimes you have to let it go......I've reached that point.

Starting Estrada really weakens the pen...and it wasn't good to begin with. I'm about ready to give up on Parra.....just don't think he is ever going to be reliable.

Conrad continues to rake in AAA. Why not have him replace Ishikawa to give yourself more options at 2nd and 3rd? Gamel is going to play virtually every day. If he needs a day off you could put Ramirez over there. -

Blue chip stocks and high grade municipal bonds are all these guys need now and for some reason they all try to hit home runs when they have already "hit a home run" when they signed the huge contract. Singles and doubles now boys.....just don't strike out or get caught stealing...... -
Just about the entire team looks just lost at the plate. Very few hard hit balls. Lots of chasing out of the zone. Sad part is a great start by Yo is wasted by Krod and the inept offense.

Ax really having a rough start to the season. He didn;t fool anybody in that inning.
