Prince has been quiet the whole homestand....Corey and Braun carried the whole team against the Cubs

Our dominant pitching staff doesn't look so dominant. Only needed 1 game and we play like crap against a struggling team just looking to be put out of its misery.

Our offense on this homestand has been really poor. No room for error for the pitchers right now.

What pitches does Frier's throw? Fastball velocity? Ground ball or fly ball guy? I noticed he is 26. If he is going to get his shot I would say its about time. Hopefully they call him up and he gets a chance to start after we clinch. -

Shaq should be able to shoot free throws too but that doesn't mean he can. As I recall Phil Jackson used to take him out of games late so they couldn't foul him. He didn't keep him in the game and then watch him miss free throw after free throw when his team had the lead and say afterwards "Shaq needs to be able to make his free throws". -

He was running out of players yet he decided to use Counsell as a pinch runner after Yuni failed to advance the runners. Its the 9th inning and you are behind.......its ok to use your whole bench....including the rookie you just called up. -
"Sports fans" don't wish broken bones on their own players.....at least no sports fans that I know. Get some perspective........if you want to berate RR for playing him fine.......but to hope he gets hurt? Pathetic. ps. If this were my board you would be banned for that comment. So you prefer Yuni to be the starting SS for the rest of the season including the playoffs? Please answer this question, yes or no. Stop acting like a soccer mom and start acting like a sports fan, and please stop acting like this is some horrible, horrible thing like me saying Hitler had some good ideas.

So when Weeks comes back who bats 2nd against lefties? I really like Hairston in that spot but I doubt he will get any starts when Rickie gets back. I hope he doesn't stick Gomez in the 2 hole but I bet he does.
