  1. An offer of over 100M was reported by Hogg or Mcalvey forget which one…..years were never mentioned if I recall correctly.
  2. It was reported as over 100 million but don’t know exact amount or years……and I’m sure we never will.

  4. Much ado about nothing https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/rob-manfred-addresses-golden-at-bat-rule-shoots-down-idea-of-using-it-in-mlb-games/
  5. Not sure if this is old news or not. https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-draft-competitive-balance-rounds-set-for-2025
  6. I think the only way they trade Yelich is if he asks them to do it……..he is the best hitter on a young and talented team that will be contenders for the foreseeable future. People always seem to want to trade players who commit long term to the Brewers and then get upset when we lose players who won’t commit here. Appreciate him……like Yount and Braun.
  7. No it wouldn’t be good to trade him…….and there is no indication that it will happen…..article proposing it is basically clickbait His contract is fine and he is the leader of the team that is really needed now that Adames is gone.
  8. Wrong board…….and yes welcome.
  9. Dodgers continue to spend
  10. Yeah I don’t come here that often but I would hate to have all the rumor speculation stuff muddying up the regular board ……so I’m glad you’re keeping it here.
  11. Yeah there is no reason to think that we have any reasonable chance of landing Sasaki.
  12. Nightingale repeats the notion Brewers plan on holding on to Devin…….also says Brewers would have liked to add Goldschmidt if Hoskins had opted out https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/columnist/bob-nightengale/2024/11/25/mlb-rumors-juan-soto-latest-news-trade-market/76556552007/
