  1. FOR THE LOVE OF... AHHHHHH!!!!!!! MENCH!!!!!!!
  2. Johnny, you should be firing the bat down... because you suck.
  3. BOOOOOOOOO. (That was more for the offense.)
  4. This team is in desperate need of a better lefty than Shouse.
  5. Wow, Floyd went waaaay around. Erect an out, Brian's House.
  6. This thread could go many ways, none of which is appropriate.
  7. Who's the emergency catcher if Estrada gets hurt and Miller is unvailable? Graffanino, IIRC.
  8. LOL @ Barrett. Did someone yell pitchout?
  9. For the love of Jebus... just look at three strikes and sit down, Dave.
  10. Technically Pie looked safe. We rewound it a few times, and it was pretty close. But the runner will be called out 99% of the time on that play if the catcher blocks the plate and has time to set up. Pie's back foot might have gotten in early, but it was close enough where it didn't matter.
  11. I'm more than happy with my current tank, thanks.
  12. The Tony/Melfi fight was a highlight of the episode right up there with the murder of Bobby. Strong acting there. I thought the Tony/Melfi confrontation was not only the highlight of the episode, but one of the highlights of the entire series. Absolutely superb acting on both halves... you could really see Melfi struggle with her decision to take the conversation where it went, and Tony's shock about possibly taking the higher road in the banter. I didn't delete the episode on my DVR solely so I could watch that scene again.
  13. The Astros announcers keep calling Pujols "Prince Albert" - that's disturbing.
  14. I suspect they'll give Roberts most of the year in Brevard he just turned 23, and has had about one really good month as a professional. Stanczyk seems to be an obvious AA promotion at the break, tho. EJ Shanks might get bumped up to Brevard to fill that spot.
  15. Unless they "need" a hitter, I think they just hit Sheets so he can at least start next inning. Edit: Or not. Edit 2: Maybe they should have.
  16. Strangely enough, the Marlins have now stranded more runners than the Crew.
  17. The Brewers played that inning like they had men on base.
  18. Baseline? What baseline? That is ridiculous.
  19. Seems like it has been forever since JJ has taken a walk. His BB/K ratio is out of line with his career.
  20. Hall didn't look like he put anything on that throw.
  21. Here's a hook: http://rs.tacklewarehouse.com/tac/ProductImages/MPLP.JPG And look how far away the Brewers have left Dontrelle Willis off of it: http://graphics.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Globe_Photo/2006/07/23/1153681757_2818.jpg
  22. Note to Ryan: If JJ can get it, let JJ have it.
