Good for Patrick to put up a zero in the Top 5th. Need those after retaking the lead.

Don’t think Drohan is meant for the rotation. Should be picking up a few innings as an “opener,” while bridging the innings gap these next two weeks, limiting wear on the actual rotation arms. But that’s about it. He and Patrick may be two-inning pitchers out of the bullpen in the playoffs. Pushed too far tonight.

Unfortunately you called it before a change could be made.
  4. ReverendBrewmeister
Turning walks into two-run homers. Gotta love the Brewers offense when it fully clicks.
  5. ReverendBrewmeister
Yep. Trevino went from lobbing in the eephus pitches to dropping down sidearm and flipping a pseudo-slider over for the third strike.
  6. ReverendBrewmeister
Good initial inning for Stallings. Murphy looked pleased with the strikes being thrown.
  7. ReverendBrewmeister
Need to get a Stallings three-inning save. Nothing like coming into a save situation up by 17 runs.

    Ask and you shall receive.

Chourio is on an absolute heater right now. Turang has also woken up the bat. Need this offense to run hot for the next six weeks or so.

    AIR LARA AGAIN!!!!
  11. ReverendBrewmeister
Not sure why Murphy pinch hit Yelich for Vaughn so early in a blowout game. Probably could use giving Vaughn some at bats against righties, since he may face some in the playoffs.

Stressful win after being up big.
  13. ReverendBrewmeister
To get chances for steals, he’ll need to stop hitting home runs….or only take first base after hitting one.
  14. ReverendBrewmeister
    LARA GETS THE GAME-WINNER!
  15. ReverendBrewmeister
Gotta go win it after putting up the zero in the Top 10th.
  16. ReverendBrewmeister
Missing on all sorts of challenges tonight.
  17. ReverendBrewmeister
    CHOURIO!
  18. ReverendBrewmeister
    Have to swing at strikes.
  19. ReverendBrewmeister
Lara in a huge spot now. Need the rookie to come through.
  20. ReverendBrewmeister
Senza-tional? Not really. But got the job done efficiently.
  21. ReverendBrewmeister
Get that man a Vulture Win.
  22. ReverendBrewmeister
Looks like that’s off the bottom of the bat knob.
  23. ReverendBrewmeister
Wouldn’t have been shocking. But maybe Murphy decided to keep the glove in the field and hope there is some motivation to make up for it on defense.
  24. ReverendBrewmeister
Think we might see Frelick in for Lara tomorrow. Not a good night at the plate, coupled with a poor challenge.
  25. ReverendBrewmeister
Need the offense to feast on the Cubs’ bullpen again.
