  1. Got one across, but didn't get the big hit with RISP. Missing that multi-RBI strike a bit lately.
  2. Well, that's a quiet Top 1 for the Brewers. Rea getting two Ks and a groundout on 10 pitches.
  3. 3-for-10 with RISP today, but no big extra-base hits with RISP. Only picked up 1 RBI with 2 outs. A good number of potential runs left on the diamond in the first two games of the series. Cash in one or two more of those opportunities today, and it's likely a win. Losing by two runs when giving up two unearned runs should also sting a little bit, given the team's emphasis on defense. Go get a win in the nightcap.
  4. Myers with two good innings. Looks like that split-change is effective for him. Appearances like that out of the "B Team Bullpen" is a nice weapon in the arsenal.
  5. Wonder if there's just a little bit of getting back to game speed needed for Collins after his several days away.
  6. Good to more than just one run in the 6th, though not quite the big inning. Need a shutdown inning from Miller in relief.
  7. MLB.com has Perkins at .200/.310/.200 in his last 7 games: 5-for-25 with 3 BB/9 K. So scuffling a little bit. Probably got about as much production out of him as you can expect from a 4th/5th outfielder filling in for an injured starter. Will be big to get Chourio back from the IL.
  8. Got to the Cubs bullpen with one out in the 6th inning. Not bad. Still enough time to chip away at the lead with single tallies, though one of the Brewers' patented 4-run+ innings would be excellent.
  9. 5-0 hole in in the bottom of the 3rd. With the doubleheader today, there will be some pitching staff management decisions for Murphy to make in the first of two.
  10. Let Boyd off the hook with no runs in missing that scoring opportunity in the 2nd.
  11. Had him completely hot in the bullpen while anticipating the matchups he faced, not expecting such a large lead. Managed to throw a 10-pitch inning. Probably about as good a result as possible given the shifting dynamics of the game. But would have been nice had the bigger inning come a little earlier in the game or developed even faster in the 8th.
  12. Walks to load the bases for an infield hit by Ortiz, followed by Turang jumping on the first pitch for another single, plus a ground out RBI for Durbin, and a wild pitch for another run. That equals a much appreciated crooked number.
  13. A pair of 1-out walks puts some big potential insurance runs on base. Would be good to cash in this opportunity. Edit: And as usual in 2025, Ortiz is up with the bases loaded again.
  14. Seems like Murphy is using Uribe as the highest leverage setup man recently. Match him up against the toughest potential batters in either the 7th or 8th inning, whichever is the more likely to be the hardest.
  15. Peralta went through the Cubs' 2–4 hitters with relative ease. Should be able to push into the 7th inning, though the bullpen should be warming. Blow the game open here, and it could be a really good game for the pitching staff.
  16. Scored another single run, but not taking advantage of the opportunities for big innings so far. Hope to get another shutdown inning from Peralta, which might be his last for the game depending on pitch count.
  17. Good shutdown inning for Peralta in the 5th. Needed that quick one. Opportunity to tack on some more runs and extend the lead.
  18. Escape job by Peralta! Big momentum swing if the offense can push a few runs across right after.
