  1. It’s a negative trend that’s getting about as bad as poor special teams play.
  2. Malik Willis will be a story to follow wherever he ends up after this season. Making the most of his opportunity in Green Bay. (Just don’t go to Minnesota.)
  3. Not sure if that’s completely true. Some questionable play calling in the red zone is on him, since he’s the one calling the game. What percentage that might be of the total blame is hard to quantify. But it’s something. That said, the continuous special teams issues has to be addressed. The onside kick and fumbling the ball deep inside the five yard line are the two big plays that cost the game.
  4. How one franchise can have so many special teams issues relative to the league is nearly inexplicable.
  5. Points are good. Grinding nearly six minutes off the clock was almost as big.
  6. Need to control the ball and pick up any sort of points to move towards closing out the game.
  7. Huge intentional grounding call…. But Santos still drilled the long field goal.
  8. There’s the big play. Willis to Doubs!
  9. Got the third down stop. Need to cash in one of these possessions. Haven’t seen a big game-breaking touchdown play like in the first matchup. Could use one of those.
  10. Somewhat dominant stats in the 1st Half, except points scored. 6-0 is a very tenuous lead. But it still is a lead. Massive momentum potential drive for Chicago to open the 2nd Half.
  11. Utilize Willis’ running ability.
  12. The hit on Love epitomizes this. Concussion protocol likely after that.
  13. Got a good stop on defense. But that’s a looong field to go with the coffin corner punt.
  14. Doubs is having a good start to the game.
  15. No points and burned a timeout on the opening drive.
  16. Watching a season potentially sink in a matter of a couple quarters of a non-elimination game.
  17. More “special teams” penalties.
  18. Home run ball attempt turns tragic.
  19. Capitalized on the penalty call. Big score coming out of halftime!
  20. Got the needed touchdown. Have to force an empty possession for Chicago to seal it.
