Pushed to the brink in that inning. Managed to escape with the lead. Dodgers’ bench is now empty. Scratch across a couple runs, and reset the margin.

Quick hook for Burnes. Maybe a batter late. Just didn’t have it from the start of the inning. Hope for a tightrope escape act from Jeffress.

Great game by Miley. Just missed 6 IP. Left that last 2-strike pitch too much in the zone. Time for the bullpen to pick him up.

Two big runs in. Would’ve liked more. But 2-0 feels a little larger than that. Gotta have the shutdown inning from Miley coming back here.

Got through 1 IP scoreless with Miley. Good start, even if a little bit nervous with Freese’s long out. Let’s see the offense jump out to a lead here in Bottom 1st.

Got the win, which is what matters. It would’ve been nice to keep the Dodgers frustrated like the Rockies were. Let them back in the game. Wonder if that will build any confidence for them? On the flip side, does holding on to another close game for a twelfth win in a row makes our guys feel a bit invincible, that they will just find a way to get the W? Coming back with Miley and probably Burnes/Guerra as the piggyback combo tomorrow afternoon seems like it could be a good formula. We shall see.

Got out of that with the lead. But Cedeno’s start to that inning conveyed no confidence in using him further in this series. Must get this win after using the bullpen this way tonight.

Excellent inning. A couple clutch hits with RISP. Got 3 more on the board. Knocked out Kershaw. Now need the bullpen to slam the door, while not letting the offense go dormant for the rest of the game.

Guess Counsell is going for the knockout blow. Really need a 3+ run inning to make it worth it. EDIT: And there are two of them!

Ugh. Hate to see a backwards K to end the inning. Two runs, lots of stress on Kershaw, got the lead. Not bad, but not excellent. If Woodruff comes back with a shutdown, that would be big to keep the momentum.
