  1. went to school at Madison. loved the badgers. sold dong bags and candy to high as hell pj hill and Johnathan casillas daily college football is so gross and grimy. I cheer on it's eventual death
  2. yeah, I think i'm done with this board for the year. the same 4 or 5 posters make reading game threads insufferable. get your dicks wet once in a while. you won't be so whiny and miserable
  3. i'm behind. love seeing the team on the top step and genuinely engaged during this. I'd want to run through a wall for the team today we're going to win 20-0
  4. dude, most pro athletes today are raised in weird cult like environments. whether that be a "school" in the Dominican republic with the pressure of raising your loved ones out of poverty, or the California travel ball jet set. these guys don't see culture and "home" the way the rest of us do. "most" of them are NPCs
  5. that's like the 4th or 5th time this year he's had a terrible approach in a big situation. I realize his bat's come around and he's "unluckily" been up with the bases loaded a ton. i'm cheering for him with all I have, but these at bats need to end. if you're a power hitter you're allowed a little leeway with that cr*p. not when you're the worst bat on the team. take a pitch. step into one. anything else
  6. love this game. I live on the Mississippi river so when I go to a brewer game it's usually a little vacation. always hit up "garcade" in Menomonee falls and spend an after noon playing games there.
  7. does anyone else feel like the team intentionally took a step back during the celebration last night to allow these young stars to have a special moment in the spotlight? they were just as pumped but let durbin, sal, perkins, and Collins be front and center
  8. I also love the multiple shots of woody in the dugout chomping on that gum, bringing that champion mindset. these guys believe in themselves
  9. you always hear sports talk people/posters talk about the pressure the brewers put on other teams with our style of play. during bill's 5th inning at bat they cut to the Mets bench and they all looked so stressed and intense. we're doing stuff that is baffling other teams not sure how it works out as i'm watching a bit behind
  10. I'm not going to put any effort in to prove this, but I read most game days and you post in most. it feels like you're the first to give up in every one that doesn't go swimmingly from the get go
  11. let them have their dinosaur baseball solo shots. we'll show them how the modern game is played
  12. good for him. if he keeps it up through the year he should get one last nice little payday he wasn't great, but I enjoyed watching him and his big dumper
  13. storyline fits perfectly with this team. I hope pat had some pocket lunchables waiting for him when he got out of the mini van
  14. how many runs did we score today just because of our base running approach? 3? 4? yes let's all get our panties in a bunch because a guy with little big league experience made a mistake. some of youse are so soft lol
