    Pretty much....but in all seriousness what does a guy getting on because of a bunt have to do with making a pitching change?

    If you are going to leave Wise out there to start the inning....why would you take him out after a guy gets on because of a bunt. I do not agree with this move....this is why Ned Yost should not be our manager.

    So just because I don't like Ned Yost and don't think this team will ever make the playoffs with him at the helm...I am jumping off the bridge??? I have been making these same comments for the last 2 + seasons. Bigredrob, I didn't know we weren't allowed to blame bad managing and Ned Yost for obvious mistakes he makes. Sorry about that.....Can I still be a Brewer fan?

    Billyhall fan......relax. We all know Bill is your favorite player. This is just a venting thread....let people vent. I'm sure most of the posters on this site like Bill Hall and understnad the big picture. Some people just need to vent.

    He's getting to balls that Gross or Clark wouldn't get to... So I can live with SOME on the job training. I think he's a good enough athlete to overcome it, but it's painful as hell to watch right now. I completey agree with this statement. If he looks this bad in July or August then maybe management should look into other options....but I think it is pretty safe to say that Hall will be in center all year,.

    Billyhallfan....why is it ignorant to think that the Brewers will not be a playoff team with Ned host running the team? What has he done to show you he is capable of managing a competive team. Watching him manage is very frustraing and I would have 0 confidnece in him if we were in an actual playoff race, I never want to see the Brewers lose but part of me wants him to make a few more crucial mistakes so upper management will finally pull the plug on him and we can move forward as a franchise. That might be a little harsh....so be it. Yost will not be able to manage this team into the playoffs....even though he has a playoff worthy team. This is not a rant....I agree with having Aquino in there tonight....Wise can't pitch every night....it is other little things that have been beating to death on the site for the reason I want him gone.

    Well......I will take a 4-3 road trip. This team will not be a playoff team with Nedly Yost running the show. At the same time, you can't use Wise, Turnbow and Cordero everynight. Other pitchers have to step up. Time for Capallean to come back to MIlwaukee. I am now focused on the homestand.....4-1 is what I am prediciting.

Good thing you had to go through this thread and copy and paste the one comment I make and ridicule it. Anything to get a win.....For that I will applaud you Jamie.

    That post might be considered humor to you but to me it was pretty pointless.....much like how this thread is going. Anyways, my predicition today Brewers 7 Cubs 2. Worst line-up of the year on paper will produce some runs.

    That Cardinal offer is very interesting. Do we even want a guy for 11 million a year if the Cardinals won't even offer 7 million a year for?

    Russell, I have to give you some props. You were the most consistent (best) hitter during your series with the Cardinals. I still don't want you on this team, but you did have a good series in your first postseason experience.

    Brett....do you think this is the year the A's finally break through and win a playoff series? If the Twins can win game 3, Johan pitches game 4 and then back to the Dome. Obviously the A's want to get this series over on Friday to finally get that monkey off their backs.

    I never onced said, Branyan sucks that is why he is on Tampa Bay. What I said last year was that Braynan will end up on a team like Tampa Bay or Kansas City in 2007 and that is exactly what happened. Your numbers do show that Branyan has been better than Vinny Castilla over the last two years....which shouldnt' be too surprising considering how bad Vinny Castilla is. When Branyan acutally does something to help the Padres win a playoff game, then we have something to talk about. Until then I will continue to watch him strike out with runners on base and hit doubles and triples when the bases are empty and the team is already down 5-1.

    Brian, I do believe that brett (who I agree with in every area except Branyan) mocked the fact that I once said Branyan would never play for a playoff team. All I was saying is that Bochy is nuts for playing him at third. They are better off with Vinny Castilla. Now how about Derek Jeter. Why do people think he is overrated...because he is the shortstop for the most hyped team in baseball? I guess that 5 for 5 last night isn't going to hurt any of his "Mr. October" praises. Instead of hate, we should appreciate greatness.

    I don't hate Russell, I just think its funny to watch him strike out time and time again in big situations. There is no way the Padres win this series with Branyan starting at 3rd for the entire series.
